Jetson Jupiter Kids' Kick Scooter with LED Lights

This happened on the second day of light use in our garage. I’m reaching out to the manufacturer to see what can be done but very unhappy right now with the durability.

I bought it for niece who is on the bigger end of scale for her age. She always has problems with other scooter, this smooth and amazing no issues.

l experienced the lights not working as well after placing in fresh batteries. (the wheel lights worked fine as they run on their own) I messaged the online support and found out quickly that Duracells are not powerful enough for the lights feature and to switch them out for Energizer. I picked up some Energizer Max batteries, popped them in, and the lights turned on! Can’t comment on how well the scooter rides yet as my 5 year old just upgraded from a 3-wheel and needs some practice, but wanted to share my experience with the lights in hopes this info can be helpful.

We bought this scooter as a gift to our 5 year old daughter who had been wanting a light up scooter. We couldn’t pass up the good price of this scooter, but I guess you get what you pay for. After unboxing and assembling, the lights did not work. The wheels will occasionally flash if she goes fast but the remaining lights on the base and neck of the scooter do nothing. We tried multiple types of batteries after reading other reviews. I even checked the connection, which was secure. These lights and wiring are not great quality. Unfortunately our daughter is too excited about having the scooter and target is out of this scooter in the same color so we can’t try to swap it out secretly while she’s at school. It seems this is a problem with this product as there are numerous reviews on Target for this issue. We wish we had seen those reviews before buying this scooter. We cannot recommend anyone buy this product, especially if it is for a special occasion.

My daughter received the birthday gift from her friend. She loved it. The quality was good and nice design. Height is also adjustable.

Got this for my 5 year old, wasn’t sure if it would be a hit or not but wow-best $30 ever spent. Good quality, loves how it lights up and it’s easy to adjust the heigh. Really easy to put together and in general a great buy.

Bought one and had to return because lights didn’t turn on… decided to get a new one and now 2 out of 2 of these scooters have non functioning lights… such a disappointment since my 7 year old has been over the moon exited to see the lights on for her bday gift… will be returning again and trying a different brand.

very tough quality and durable. never seen a kick scooter that requires 3 AA batteries, but that is for the lights, but i've never seen that type of setup. very unique. and very bright light, and it makes my entire room light up blue, since i bought the teal one. very futuristic indeed!

Scooter rides smooth. Kids love them. One didn’t light up and the company replaced it with no issues.

Gift for Grandson. He loves it and we are amazed at all the lighting choices. Very sturdy and folds for storage.

The lights are the coolest feature on this kick scooter, however we also suffered the same fate as the other many reviews before, the lights in fact, did not work. I contacted Jetsons help desk in case there was trouble shooting and they just advised I switch batteries… which did nothing since the batteries I had in were brand new already. (Do yourself a favor and do not try and get help from their company) We did return. However, the scooter I will say had well gripped wheels and a sturdy body so I felt my daughter was safer on this than the Ignight brand (also returned) I switched to to try once I realized the lights were broken. I think safety trumps the light function but it still got returned because the item should work. We ordered the Jupiter jumbo wheels to see if we have better results. We shall see.

Christmas gift for my 70lb 9yr old. Has used it for the last few weeks and now the base is cracked. I’ll be returning

My granddaughter loves this scooter. She wanted the red one. Lights flash and can be programmed to different modes. She loves to choose the red, white and blue mode.

We got this scooter in 2 different colors for our sons for Christmas! Teal & Black. Both great! Easy to set up! Love it for our kids to use this to be more active!

Our 6y/o son received this scooter as a Christmas gift and wasn’t very excited after unwrapping knowing that’s what he got but in about 2 minutes later he’s taking the box to his room trying to put it together:) after fixing it for him he LOVED it and was saying how he likes his scooter and how’s it’s so awesome:D. Quality is great!

This scooter lights up on the wheels, foot plate and up the vertical bar! Good quality, smooth ride and the kids love it! Also, great lrice

First one we received the lights didn’t work. Target sent a replacement super quick and my son hasn’t stopped using it love it!!

Absolutely love these scooters. They’re durable, can definitely withstand some throwing around by a young kid.
