A: None- my son ‘scooters’ every single day. He’s 9. We’ve been through normal wear and tear on 2 scooters. Bought this one just because he liked the black. Fell twice when the wheel and handle bars went in different directions (the second time getting really beat up). Husband fixed it. Thought all was well. Then he fell a third time and really tore up a lot of skin on his hands and knee when one of the rubber handlebars CAME OFF! I can not stress how much I DO NOT recommend this scooter.
A: The "highlights" say Age: 3-8 years, but reviews below say they're 10 year old girl and her friends love it...
A: If your 10 year-old does any kind of small jumps, this is not a good scooter. Owner's manual says no jumps, and we had issues with the lights turning off with bumps. the box says the max weight is 132 lbs, but the owner's manual says the max weight is 70 lbs.
A: At its highest the handles adjust to 33" from the ground. I was worried about that too. And the foot deck is 11.5" long (where their foot goes). And it says the weight on the box says it goes up to 132 lbs. Also, the lights have different pattern settings too. Hope that helps, the picture and description do not do it justice. I would say an average 5-12 year old could use it.
A: Yes It needs batteries.
A: Per item description it takes 3 AA alkaline batteries (not included)

A: The lights are red, blue, Green
A: For the Teal Jupiter the lights in the stem and deck are white and blue.

A: With a max height of 34 inches, our Jetson Jupiter will comfortably fit your 9-year-old. Rest assured the product comes equipped with various height settings to meet your little one where they are in their electric journey.
A: Hi Jjaime, Thank you for your question. The correct maximum rider weight is 132 lbs (pounds), and the Target.com listing has been updated accordingly as of this response on Feb 14, 2018... happy V-Day!
A: The box say 132 pounds max, the owner's manual and Target website say 70 pounds max.
A: Hi Kp, Thank you for your question. There is only one Power Button which controls both the LED lights in the deck and in the steering stem. Click the Power Button on the bottom of the Deck to turn on the LED Lights for both sections. There are 11 light functions that can be cycled through by clicking on the Power Button. The 12th click will turn off the LED Lights. To skip the cycle and turn off the LED Lights hold the Power Button down for 3 seconds. Please keep in mind that we are always available to help you at help@ridejetson.com.
A: Push the power button in and hold for 3 seconds.
A: 3 AA and not they didn't come with it and you will need a small philips head screw driver to install them too.
A: Hi Berta, Thank you for your question. The Jupiter has over 100 LED lights located in the Stem, the Deck, and the Wheels. In order to have them illuminate, you will need to add 3 AA batteries to the bottom of the deck. The batteries must be purchased separately. We recommend using rechargeable AA's. To insert the batteries, flip over the Jupiter so you are looking at the bottom of the Deck. Use a screw driver to open the battery box at the bottom of the Deck and place the batteries inside. Close the battery box door with the screw and screwdriver. Your Jupiter is now ready to be turned on for use. In order to illuminate the Deck, you will need to turn on the LED Light Switch. To save battery life, remember to turn off the LED lights at the end of every ride. The Wheels are equipped with LED lights that will illuminate when riding, they do not require any batteries.

A: I don’t how high it adjust, but the bar is positioned at its lowest.
A: The height of the handle is 3 point adjustable so it’s just fine for anyone from 34 inches to 48 inches tall.
A: Hi Angie, thank you for your question. Our Jetson Jupiter Kick Scooter handlebar height adjusts from 20" to 29" using 3 set points. Please know we are always available to help you at help@ridejetson.com.
