A: Hi - no, the USB port will work even if the top light is turned off.

These lamps are a treasure since my home is primarily southwestern in decor. Only wish cords for the bases had been included.

Country living!
We recently purchased a home out in the country....ELK are everywhere. My husband LOVES these lamps for our guest room/office. The shades 'look' like leather, and the 'antlers' look real enough. Adds a fun touch to our room.

Ugly Shade
You can't quite tell from the photos online but these shades are ugly and look and feel cheap in person. The shape/silhouette of the shade is very "grandma" and makes the lamp look like something salvaged from a cheaply decorated 70's home. There are two thick seams on either side of the shade (not visible in the online photos) where the plastic shade material is joined - looks terrible. I'm returning these as quickly as possible.

Love these “deer” lamps!
I bought two of these lamps for my northern MI lake home and used them as bedside table lamps in the master bedroom. I absolutely love them! They help create the up north cabin feel I was going for and produce a good amount of light.....enough to read by or just relaxing in bed and watching tv. I was pleased with the price....not too much but just enough to be affordable. It’s a quality built light, no cheap materials used. I would recommend this lamp to anyone wanting a rustic cabin look to their room.

Beautiful Antler Lamps
I love my antler lamps in my guest bedroom!! They match the decor in my log house. I have had many compliments on them. I think I may order another set of lamps for my bedroom that have bears for the theme!!
