Perhaps this product is not for natural hair because it left my hair feeling dry and hard. Very disappointing.

This made my hair fall out and still feel dirty. It smells bad as well. Would not recommend to anyone. I tried because of the quantity but it’s not worth it.

Immediately made my hair feel like straw and I knew it was going to be a terrible wash from there on out. Listen to the reviews if you have high porosity hair. Very good price for natural haircare but terrible execution product wise.

This shampoo left my hair feeling dry and still not cleaned after pumping so much product into my hair and still felt dry. I was expecting better since the curl cream works wonders for my hair. Now I’m stuck with a bottle full of dryness do not buy!

My hair has never felt more dry and it did not clean my hair at all. None of the old products came out of my hair, but this shampoo stripped my hair of all its natural oils. Using the conditioner that goes with the shampoo did not help at all. It just made my hair feel grimy but still dry. Because nothing was working I ended up using about 1/3 of the bottle in one shower. This might be the worst shampoo/co-wash I’ve ever used.

I love how clean and nice smelling this is for my hair. I only use Jozi for my hair and my hair loves me more because of it. Thank you!

It literally dried my hair out so much; I couldn’t brush it. I had to wash out the shampoo but conditioner in it to detangle. Then use the shampoo which once again dried out my hair, before I did my conditioner again.

I used this on my roots and it made them so greasy feeling and matted. I tried rinsing it out twice but still have this sticky residue on my roots. I do not recommend at all. I also have type 4A hair if that helps.

This is pure water. It left my hair feeling like straw. I also bought the curl enhancing spray and it is awful. My hair feels like I soaked it in oil. Do not recommend.

For years I’ve been spending $$ to get my curls back. This is my new BFF!! The first few times I wasn’t sure. It took a minute to stop focusing on no lather. I paired it with the curl’s conditioner and my oh my!! I wake up looking and feeling beautiful. Give it a week before you toss under the sink.

I read a ton of comments about this shampoo not working out for people with tighter curl patterns and coily hair, but I am a 3B and this worked fine for me. I'm used to shampoos that are sulphate and papraben free not lathering, so i didn't mind that much. I did have to go in with the shampoo twice, but that was just because i was washing after 8-10 days, which is more than a usual wash cycle for me. I didn't find it to be very hydrating, but enough that my hair wasn't dry at the ends after or more tangled. I feel like at this price point, this was a fine buy.

This shampoo was not too bad. It cleansed well, stripping away the dirt and debris, without making my hair have that "bar soap" feeling after I rinsed. It also didn't over tangle my hair while I was washing it. I am interested in trying the conditioner and other products from the line.
