submitted byElijah_Dinos - 1 year agoA: Sorry to point out, Mattel Consumer Services is incorrect. Darius is about 4in tall, the dinosaurs no where near 12in tall. This is a 3.75in (1:18th scale) set, not a 6in (1:18th scale) set.

A: Darius is about 4in tall, this is a 3.75in (1:18th scale) set, not a 6in (1:18th scale) set. Trust me, I collect the figures, not just regurgitate incorrect descriptions about them.

This is a great price for the dinos included. They do not roar, but they are well made and sized right. So if you are needing to complete a collection for little ones, this is great. My son has almost every dino big and small. Camp Cretaceous is his FAVORITE and Ben and Darius are also. The fact that Darius broke so easily while simply putting him to sit down was really sad. He is made a bit like Owen, but the Owen figure is much more durable. This broke apart within 2 months. Unlike Owen, you cannot find Darius in any other set, so if your kid is a huge character fan, you'll have a grumpy sad child on your hands for a bit. All in all, growing up loving Jurassic Park and watching it when it first came out, I don't mind at all my son loves the whole enterprise so much, these dino packs are great!

Bumpy is the same Bumpy you get in the other sets, the other two dinos are great but they make no sound. This was fine for us because we have so many that do and my son did not have either in this size particularly so he was super happy. What we were not happy with is how EASILY Darius falls apart. We Owen and Claire. Owen is made very similarly but is sturdy and has not failed us in 2 years. Darius broke within 2 months. I watched while it happened, my son was putting him to sit down and his legs basically fell out and his body split in half in a way. He was so disappointed and being that you cannot buy Darius in any other set, it really sucks. I wish they did a better job on him, considering that he is the one of the very few characters of color in the series and you can ONLY get him if you buy this set.

This was a Valentine’s Day gift for my little man because he is OBSESSED with Camp Cretaceous, and this was the most precious gift for him. The dinosaurs are well built and even the little Darius figurine seems sturdy. We have a 1 year old as well so we worry about little action figures breaking apart and being choking hazards but Darius has been through the ringer and seems to be holding up great.
