It's a very nicely done, and larger than most, model of these reptiles. Beautiful details all around. There is small room for improvement when it comes to the fins, though. I'm guessing that for packaging purposes it comes with ready-to-assemble parts, the fins being some of these. The result is that you can feel that the pressure slots don't grip with the same strength. One of the fins can be easily removed with a bump. I can't say if it's a single item defect or a model one because my daughter refused to let go of hers. Which I guess goes to show that overall it's a keeper.

TAIL WONT STAY PUT!!! my son absolutely loves this toy but the tail makes it such a big issues!! It constantly falls off even without cause.

This could have been an awesome toy. My kiddo loves all things Jurassic park. The problem is the tail absolutely will not stay on. Hard to play with it when the tail falls off every time. I even tried superglue. All the Dino’s made with the tail separated are basically trash

My 3 year old is obsessed with Jurassic park and dinosaurs in general. He loves playing parts of the movies with toys. As some reviews mentioned, one of the fins was faulty and lets coming out, but we fixed that with some super glue.

I bought this Dino for my son this summer and it was one he really was looking forward to taking on our summer vacation to the lake and grandmas pool. Within a week the tail fell off for the first time… I was able to reattach but it continued to do so and each time it stayed on shorter and shorter amounts of time. It now will not stay on at all and I’ve even tried hot gluing or super gluing it together. We went on a Long summer vacation shortly after buying it so I didn’t have time to attempt to return it but for the money I am pretty disappointed in it. I’m assuming ours was somehow defective since we have a friend who got one close to when we got ours and they haven’t had an issue.

The soft body and size were a big hit! There was a bit of assembly, and one flipper was more difficult then the rest. It was a Birthday present and the hit of the gifts. There are pait speckles that I had to check pictures to see if it was supposed to be there, but overall wonderful!
