Jurassic World Hammond Collection Delta Velociraptor Action Figure

The Blue and Delta Hammond Collection raptors are much better than the first ones released by Mattel, having better proportions and sculpts. However, if the Hammond Collection is meant to be a line aimed at adult collectors, they should put more effort into the figures' paint scheme. The larger figures are very good in this regard, but these smaller figures do not reflect that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My five year old is a huge dinosaur fan and loves the Jurassic Park movies. So when I saw this toy available, I had to grab it for him, he loves Velociraptors, he thinks they are so cool. This will make a fine addition to our dinosaur collection.

Well my son took the toy out of the packaging and started bringing the dinosaur everywhere. I am not sure where the dinosaur is now, since it traveled in our car and went everywhere 😂

Excellent details on the figure make it very realistic to the films. The articulating legs and tail make it very easy to position the Velociraptor in different poses.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My detail oriented 7 year old loves the hammond collection line since they are super detailed. He has loved this new velociraptor delta. It didn't dissappoint in terms of quality. It is easily giftable to a dino loving kid. Just note that the hammond collection products can sometimes be more fragile due to the extra fine details on them than the regular line of camp cretaceous and jurassic world dinos. Two thumbs up on this one and has become a staple in dino play.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My friend's grandson liked that he can move the dinosaur's head, tail and arms....he also like positioning the dinosaur and pretending to make it walk and also that he can rotate the dinosaur's head and open its mouth so he can pretend the dinosaur is roaring.

The dinosaur has survived accidentally being stopped on as well as being thrown across the room by an older sibling. This is a must for the dinosaur or Jurassic Park fans alike!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves dinosaurs and all the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World movies. This velociraptor “Delta” toy is a fun addition to his collection. It looks really similar to Delta in the Jurassic World movies. It has many adjustable parts: head, mouth, neck, arms, hands, legs and tail. It is able to stand on its own which helps when playing with it. The details of Delta’s teeth, eyes, claws and body, as well as the ability to move the body pieces make this a truly neat toy! Highly recommend!

I’ve been actively collecting Mattel’s Hammond collection figures since their release a few years ago. I’ve generally had no complaints minus superficial aesthetic choices. This single figure has been two strike outs with quality control. I preordered the figure and when it came in the mail last week the left foot was jammed into the joint assembly at an angle which fractured the joint and the foot was not able to move out of the position in came in the package. I was bummed out but Target immediately replaced the figure no questions asked. The second figure was delivered today and when I opened it up the left leg was not fully inserted into the figure. I pushed on it a little to see if it would pop into place and nothing happened. I then moved the leg and it came loose. It looked like that assembly was crushed or something and the leg assembly. So I’m giving up I don’t want to have to wait for another figure and see if I can get a good figure after a third try. For being a higher end figure I’d like to see more care going into quality control-and now I’m nervous about ordering any figure I cannot get at the store.

Finally we have delta and I can not wait for echo and Charlie to be realsed to finish this pack of raptors and she has so much beautiful detail and design.
