Jurassic World Mission Mayhem Truck Set

A nice vehicle set featuring a repainted Einiosaurus, which was nearly impossible to find, and a vehicle similar to the one from The Lost World.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boys went to a Jurassic world show and this car is exactly like the one they used in the show. The dinosaur is very realistic looking. The truck is easy to maneuver. My boys have played with this inside, outside, on rocks, on the rug, and on the tile. They love trying to get the Dino and rescue everyone. Very fun for all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There’s a lot to love about the Jurassic World Mission Mayhem truck set. To begin with, the truck itself is the central focus of the toy. The set also includes a small, green, horned dinosaur species called Einiosaurus. This dino makes sense for integrative play alongside the Mission Mayhem truck, specifically because the dinosaur’s horn is the perfect implement to ram into and poke a special panel on the side of the truck, which causes a special arm mechanism on the underside of the vehicle to activate, flipping it over onto its side. It’s a very well designed feature, it works consistently, and it brings a fantastic sense of real action into playtime! My son said this was much more fun way to play, than him simply turning the car over onto its side by himself. The vehicle itself is surprisingly spectacular, for a truck that doesn’t feature any battery operated lights or sounds, and that only has stickers in place of vehicle “lights” - which is usually a recipe for a cheap-looking toy that skimped on details. Somehow, this truck defies those conventions and is still completely awesome, and any features it lacks aren’t being missed at all when you look at it and play with it! The truck has beautiful, intricate details from the crisp and clear Jurassic World T-Rex logo, to scratched-in claw marks on the exterior and plenty of little rivets and tools (and goodness, the details on the interior are excellent! From detailed contours on the two seats, to the texture of the flooring near the working rear hatch opening!). To my son and I, it is definitely one of the greatest Jurassic World vehicles that has been made. One feature my son did not love was actually the large grabbing claw, which thankfully is removable and therefore allows children an option for how they elect to play with the vehicle, as well as how it looks (great idea!!). The reason he didn’t love it was because he found it a bit difficult to operate. The grabber claw was a careful two-handed operation every time, in order to pry it open and then force the dinosaur into place, followed by more adjustment - because often the dinosaur would scrape against the floor as the car started to “drive.” The only reason the Mission Mayhem set has lost one star from us in this review is simply because we feel it really should have included a human figure. Worth noting - the actual box it came in featured a photo with a human figure behind the wheel, of a nondescript park worker guy. That would have truly made this set perfect and allowed for complete play opportunities, since let’s face it, everything about the Jurassic films is based on what happens when humans and dinosaurs interact. This beautiful vehicle is so excellently made to accommodate figures, and while my son has Jurassic human figures at home that he happily started using in the car (starting with Robert Muldoon) not every child may have an existing collection. Including a human would have helped elevate this set to make it a particularly great place to start building a collection from. In any event, it’s still a wonderful new addition to the Jurassic world toy realm, and a very fun vehicle for any child to enjoy playing with!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Jurassic world truck was a winner when it came to by son. He enjoyed all the functions of the truck. It's very durable and sturdy. He also enjoyed the toy dinosaur that came with it. He would say he didn't like that he couldn't put the dino inside the truck but we all know dinos don't drive hahaha. Overall very great toy for Jurassic World fantastics

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the packaging of what the toy can do and how you interact with it, it is neat concept but, poorly executed. For starters, the grabber claw broke after taking it out of the package. It would have bee nice if the claw feature had a button to activate on the truck while playing. The crash and flip feature is neat but again a kid is already going to hit the truck with a dinosaur hard enough to flip it over on their own. The detachable roof should have come with some sort of way to keep it in place when it is not being hit by a dinosaur. Lastly, the chip in the dinosaur was a cool bonus feature but once my 3yr old saw there was a game app he wanted nothing to do with the toy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my jurassic loving little boy. He plays with it for hours at a time with his jurassic dinosaurs. It does seem to be well made as well as durable. We have had no problems with it not rolling or the wheels not working.

The truck and dinosaur combination is great way to keep my kids entertained and excited for what they can do with it. Good for indoors and outdoors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Jurassic world toys are a huge hit with my 4 year old and 9 year old and this one is no exception. They loved the truck and dinosaur that this set came with. The top of the truck detaches, increasing the play fun if the dinosaurs try to get it! The only thing that would have made it more fun is if it came with an action figure!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6-year-old son really enjoys playing with this new Jurassic World Mission Mayhem armored truck and Einiosaurus set. He likes to take it outside and play with it on the dirt hill in our backyard. His favorite thing to do is to make the Einiosaurus smash into the side of the truck with the push-in door piece that releases the lever under the vehicle causing it to flip down the hill. This truck has held up through some rough play. He likes the capture claw at the front of the truck but says it would be better if there was a button to make it open and close. The only complaint he had was that there was no action figure to drive the truck, but we are huge Jurassic World fans here and he managed to find other JW action figures to place in the truck.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality of this toy is good. It doesn't feel like it will break too easily. My son enjoys playing with it. There is a cool feature that when the dinosaur hits the side of the truck, the truck rolls over. The top of the car comes off a little too easily. You can't pick up the truck in that spot without the top coming off. It would have been nice and more fun if it came with at least one person since it's only the dinosaur and the truck. The wheels are pretty squeaky when the spin too.

My little one is a dinosaur enthusiast and adding this truck/dinosaur toy set to his collection didn’t disappoint. He likes how big the truck is and how much more versatile it is in conjunction with all his dinosaurs. The truck has a claw/clamp like attachment to the front of the truck that has kept my little one entertained. He likes to ram the claw into the dinosaurs in order to trap them. Ironically, he wasn’t as interested in ramming the dinosaur into the side of the truck door in order to flip the truck (of which this toy was designed for). I also liked the interactive features of the truck. My little one figured out how to remove the top of the truck quickly and likes how he can change the look of the truck. Overall a great vehicle and dinosaur toy set for any Jurassic Park enthusiast.

My seven year old son enjoys ramming the dinosaur's front horn into the side of the vehicle, which triggers the flip feature. It is easy for him to close the lever underneath and reset the truck to flip again. The truck and dino are the right colors to resemble the movie. The dinosaur is also a part of the mobile phone game where you can pull up a tab on its back to scan it and get the DNA. The car has plenty of room for 2 of your own people and "dinosaur hunt" accessories.

I love how it is great for pretend play and imagination with its tipping feature. When the dinosaur hits a part of the vehicle it lifts up pretending to flip. Super cool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have lots of fun with this toy. My kiddo loves the flip feature and gets a kick out of catching his dinosaurs with the jeep. Our only problem is the top parts comes off a little too easy, which is fun during flips but when he pushes it around from the top it comes off super easy and it frustrates him while trying to catch the dinosaurs. Would recommend if you’re into the Jurassic world universe and love cars plus Dino’s.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Evolution Mission Mayhem Truck Set This set captured my child’s attention right out of the box. The action feature that causes the truck to flip is her favorite part so far. Just use the dinosaur to hit the door and a spring loaded arm flips the truck. This car fits in nice with that military Jurassic World vibe and the small dinosaur included makes the set. Truck rolls and breaks apart while fitting any Jurassic World human figure you may have. This really leads my child’s mind down an imaginative path.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves the Mission Mayhem truck and dinosaur Jurassic vehicle! His two favorite things (dinosaurs and truck) in one. His favorite part is the innovative action features. There is a neat feature where you scan the hidden tracking code on the dinosaur where the Jurassic world play app will open to unlock experiences and play fun games. Really neat design.

I think the only thing that was disappointing was that it doesn’t come with a person/figure to drive the vehicle. It’s shown on the packaging but nothing is included.
