Pass on this one

Should have passed on this one. My son likes it but it is articulated differently than the rebirth quetzal. The wings are not cloth, like the rebirth one they are a thin rubber that will not hold up to bending and playing. It will be tearing no doubt. The feet also do not move, the figure will not stand and is not as pose able or playable as the rebirth version. My eleven year olds favorite things about this: The head turns at a complete 360° and the sound sounds more menacing than the rebirth version. This toy is not worth $40 should be $20, it will not hold up near as long as other dinos. Pass on this one and go for a set with better value.

Firebeak Quetzalcoatlus

It's a beautfiul throwback to the original kenner toy. Inexplicably does not use the same fabric material for the wings, but this is a "real feel" nevertheless. I admire the commitment to the "real feel" appendages and love the coloration, doesn't seem to bend as well in the standing position. Heavier than the aerial ambush quetzalcoarlus, fantastic figure overall.
