I was really excited to get this rug, however, as soon as I opened it the colors were sooo far off. Online it looks like a dark yellow and tan, but the one I got was beige instead of yellow and white instead of tan. Very disappointed! I will say it seemed very plush, but I'm not sure of shedding since I never unrolled it.
I just created a second account so that I could revise my first review - this rug sheds so much, I am at my wits end. Do not waste your precious time vacuuming endlessly only to find fifty new tufts scattered around your house the next day. I reached my breaking point when a stranger stopped me on the street to kindly inform me that I had fibers from this rug stuck to BOTH of my shoes.... DO! NOT! BUY! THIS! CHEAP! RUG! I should've known better. You can't buy something cheap and expect it to be good quality. Too bad $130 ain't cheap for me; now I'm stuck with this thing and can't afford another rug for quite some time.
Soft, but Sheds: Quality Probably Matches Low Price

I agree with the first reviewer that this rug is super soft and fluffy. The color is a nice neutral beige; warm, but not too yellow-y. When I first unrolled it, it had a chemical smell that's faded over time; I thought 'hand-tufted' meant it would not have latex glue or backing, but unfortunately this description is misleading: a hand-knotted rug would not need the glue, but of course it is more labor-intensive and would cost a lot more. The smell has faded away as it's aired out. I've had it for about a month, and it continues to shed. Most long-pile rugs do at first, so I will have to wait and see if it will stop shedding soon, or if it is genuinely poor quality and will continually shed. I will say, it does NOT shed when vacuumed... But anytime I walk over it with socks on, I end up with piles of fluff stuck to my heels. Will it last and be durable over time? It's a risk.
What a great rug! So soft and fluffy! The price was perfect too. I never write reviews, but I was so impressed with this rug- I felt so compelled to brag about how wonderful it is! The color is not quite as vibrant... definitely more light brown/beige. But still so beautiful. I love the simple design and I feel confident that it will be easy to clean and hide dirt since it's a natural color. Did I say how plush it is?! I know I did, but had to emphasize it again. (I could take a nap on this thing!) It is a little wide for our hallway but it's so fluffy that where it curls up at the base board, it blends in with the "fluffy look". Hands down- great buy!
