It was infested with bird feathers, which is not normal for the food of herbivores. Thankfully my rabbit didn't choke on one or have it enter his digestive system. A compromised or otherwise blocked digestive system is deadly for rabbits. I didn't buy a bag of dead birds. I bought dry grass for a small animal and expected it to be clean. I have had rabbits for years and have never experienced anything like this. I can't even comfortably buy this brand anymore.

It consisted of a ton of dust and big chunky pieces of hay that makes it hard for my Guinea pigs to enjoy and I was worried about them inhaling the dust/ it getting in their eyes. Bought this on a whim but never again. Sticking with brands like Oxbow.

My bunnies give this two paws up. They love it so much. They even know the crinkle of the bag. I tried several other kinds like the one from my local feed store and they refused to eat it. This smells fresh and helps keep my bunnies healthy by being able to give them unlimited bay which they really need. The bag is well made so that you can close it back up and keep the hay extra fresh.

I didn’t expect much considering this didn’t come from a pet store, but it’s so dry and all straw consistency. My pigs eat about half and the other half stays in the litter.
