Kellogg's Froot Loops Scoops Cereal - 12.4oz

I thought I was crazy. Tasting peppermint or menthol… I thought I had like a mint or something somewhere. I saw rainbow scoops for a flavor and I figured it would be a sherbet flavored… This is a horrible surprise.

It tasted like vapor rub. Is this a joke?

Ate one piece and threw away the whole box. Smells like cleaning products and the “cooling” effect is minty and very unappealing. Worst cereal I’ve ever had.

It was gross. My kids tummy hurted afterwards. It almost tasted like that vapor rub smell. Don’t bother getting this. It’s gross! Had to throw it away

Whatever chemical they add to give it a cooling effect tastes terrible. These are actively unpleasant to eat. I poured one bowl and took one bite and threw the rest in the trash, and I like the Wednesday Addams cereal.

I wanted to like this based on the packaging. The cereal itself was fresh, but really lacked that fruity zing you’d expect. Definitely doesn’t taste bad, but doesn’t taste like sherbet. Cooling effect was fun at first but fell flat.

My school-aged son really liked this cereal. It does give a cooling effect and he says it has the right amount of sweetness. He has tried the Icee cereal and liked it, but we couldn’t find it in stores for the past year. He says this one is similar

Waited 2 years for the release of this cereal and sadly did not live up to expectations. There is no menthol or cooling effect, and I don’t taste any sherbet flavoring. In fact it’s so lightly sweetened, it just tastes like a bowl of flavorless corn puffs. Try their ICEE cereal instead, much sweeter and true to the advertised flavor.

This cereal is so gross. Don't waste your money. It has a menthol aftertaste to give your mouth a "cooliing" effect.

The taste is truly awful.

I wish I could give this ZERO stars. This is the utmost DISGUSTING cereal I have EVER eaten. It taste like pure chemicals & the aftertaste is utterly gross. This cereal is NOT fit for human consumption. Trust me when I say it won’t last long at all. The consensus seems to be that it’s really horrible. I’m so mad that my Foragers oat milk was even wasted on this cereal. I couldn’t even finish all of it & I tried. I threw it down the toilet. I felt like if I kept eating it I was putting some harmful chemicals in my body This cereal is so unsatisfying that it doesn’t even taste like it could be in the Fruit Loop family of cereals. I’ve never had a cereal so gross. There is as the other have said NO SORBET flavor. Sorbet is smooth & creamy. This tastes like some chemicals engineered in a plant somewhere. Shame on you Kellogg’s for trying to pass this monstrosity off as cereal. It’s poison! It tasted so bad I want my money back …ANDDD I don’t even want to eat Fruit Loops anymore!!!

It doesn’t taste like sherbet at all.

I get what they were going for: cereal that cools your mouth, probably with a small amount of menthol, but like... this is clearly something kids would like. We got it on sale and it was interesting, but it's not something I would eat every morning. Also I'm pretty sure you can't make a grain cereal taste like a frozen dairy product, so "rainbow sherbet" is definitely not the flavor, just a name. Tl;dr it tastes like regular Fruit Loops that remembered what mint was

Would be good without the cooling taste

The taste is weird. The after taste is nasty. I won't be buying this again. I'm glad my daughter can't have it because she's not missing much. I don't taste the sherbet ice cream. It's like tasting toothpaste...funky taste. Don't buy this.

Tastes like fruity toothpaste. It’s not bad per se, but not good either.

Why would someone ever want their cereal to have a cooling effect? I don’t want my mouth to feel like i just smoked a menthol cigarette. There isn’t a rainbow sherbet flavor. It taste just like regular gross Fruit Loops.
