A: I have the issue with the ring and the plate wobbling. I haven't been able to figure out why it does this. It is lined up correctly, the ring just slides out from underneath it

Q: How does power level work. Nothing happens when I press it.

A: After you enter your cook time, press the power level button once, then press it again. Each time you press it, the level will decrease by 10%. Definitely a frustrating method since most of us are used to the other way.

A: Yes, the child lock can be disabled. Push the 0/unlock pad for 2 seconds. When the displays says LOC, press 7 than 9. The pad will then say ULOC and the buzzer will beep once. It is then disabled.

Q: I can't turn off the child lock. I need to "unlock" it to open everytime. It shows "lock". Manuel says hold until locl clears but that only opens it one time. Can't it be turned off forever???

A: Child lock can be deactivated by pressing and holding "UNLOCK" button for 3 seconds, the display will show "Loc". Then, press "-" button then "+" button in a sequence, the display will show "ULoc".

The box with the turntable in it was open and the broken turntable was just laying inside the microwave the shipping container box was retaped on the top. Fortunately, my old microwave’s glass turntable fit this one; otherwise, I would have returned it. Also, it was the last microwave in stock, so I didn't return it

Do not buy products from Kenmore. Target should be ashamed as well.
I bought this microwave last year, and within days of falling out of warranty, it stopped working. This is what so many others have said, apparently. I called customer service, and they said there is nothing they can do about it. Then they had the nerve to say, "Is there anything else I can help you with?". I have bought so many Kenmore products. Never again. Target should be reading these reviews and looking out for their customers.

Should expect more for a Kenmore.
It did heat a 12 oz. Cup of coffee from cold to hot in 1 minute. The turn table is so loose like it doesn’t fit the turn gear properly. Like it’s the wrong table for this model. We’ve had it 2 months and are returning it to the store tomorrow. Today was the final straw. The stop button is very had to push in enough to stop the cooking. And the feet are too slick. You have to hold the unit from sliding when you open the door.
