The Kent NORTHSTAR 26 Woman's Bike is built tough and features a easy step through high tensile steel frame and front suspension fork for enhanced control and a smoother ride. The NORTHSTAR 26 features 21 speed gearing with easy to operate twist grip shifting as well as an alloy quick release seat clamp for simple seat adjustment. This womans's mountain bike is built to ensure safety, comfort and durability. Linear pull brakes both front and rear offer great control and stopping power. The satin mint finish will bring smiles on every ride.

A: it has a bolt on front wheel. You ned a 15mm wrench to remove the wheel.

A: It has holes in the dropouts by the rear wheel but not near the seat. You will need a seat post clap with rack mounts

A: A bicycle child carrier will fit both the front of the bike and the rear. We reccomnd the Polisport Koolah Child Carrier.

A: The bicycle comes 80% preassembled. Usually you will have to put on the front wheel, pedals, seat w/seatpost, handlebar and final adjustments of the brakes and gears

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm new to mountain biking and this bike is perfect for a beginner. The color is so fun, not too girlie, but with little pops of it! My husband put it together in a timely manner. I also love that I can use it for more than mountain biking as well.

I bought this for my 12 year old daughter and it’s the perfect size and subtle color. It’s a nice soft color, which can be hard sometimes to find a bike that isn’t bright and bold as far as colors. It’s made it through quite a few months now and is holding up well, no rusting or significant wear

One day I heard a voice message about Target recalling the bike I bought. At the time, I thought the bike was new and didn't seem to have any problems, so I ignored the message. My daughter occasionally rides it on the weekends, but one day, my daughter almost collided with a car. She didn’t know what happened. She was very nervous. The bike fell to the ground and could not run. Fortunately, no body appeared. But when we saw this bike，the chain part was severely deformed and fell off, which made me very scared.

I bought the bike online so I could be the one to put it together based on other concerns with buying from assemblers from store. Received the bike and both tires were warped. This bike has poor packaging. The tires were so bad I could not even ride the bike. Very disappointed.

Smooth ride but you definitely need to put some time into assembling the bike and take the time to learn how to use the gears properly. Adjusting and setting up the front hand brake is the hardest part. No assembly tools are provided. Seat is hard so a padded seat cover is helpful for added comfort.

No tools came with this bike. Typically an Allen wrench comes to tighten & secure the parts. Everything that was already put together needs to be tightened & secured for safety. The bike looks nice, but I’d never buy it again.
