ACTUALLY SUCH AN AMAZING PRODUCT. My mom and I (we have wildly different hair textures) BOTH loved it. Curly hair and straight hair... it made both of our hair glossy and shiny. It feels amazing. And it's lasted! A couple weeks later and I still feel like my hair is glossier. Please never stop making this product, and also please bring it to Canada.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't think I've ever disliked a product so quickly. I like this brand but this specific product was a huge miss for me. The directions say to put the gloves on then get into the shower to mix the bottles together. The gloves were huge so trying to do all that was difficult. Putting it on my hair was easy enough but there's a huge chemical smell. It says not to get in your eyes but it's pretty difficult since this is supposed to sit in your hair for 20 minutes... I don't have time for that, not even with an everything shower. I left it in for at least 10 minutes. I had to take the gloves off after putting the stuff in my hair since they were driving me crazy. Bad idea. There's such a heavy film of this product that washing my hands multiple times with soap didn't help. That's when I knew I was in trouble. This left such a heavy waxy coating on my hair. I washed my hair multiple times and still felt like my hair had been through the worst drying experience ever. I thought maybe after blow drying it would get better. Nope. Wrong. My hair was wayyy frizzier than it was before. I honestly wish I never tried this product. I would not recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this shine treatment after I washed and conditioned my hair with a different Brand of products a few day before (just wanted that to be know and not sure if it makes a difference in the outcome or not but it doesn’t say on the box that it matters). But I mixed #1&2 together and applied it to my wet hair and followed the instructions. I then blow dried it and did not apply any product after rinsing it out. When done it really did nothing to change my hair or make it “high gloss/ shine” I was actually disappointed. While my hair did feel soft considering all I applied was conditioner and shampoo like it said when rinsing it out. Usually my hair would feel dry and just “meh” but it didn’t this time it felt hydrated! But I did not see a shine or gloss look like I was expecting. Maybe it’s not supposed to but that’s what I was expecting and for it to last for 3-4 weeks. I have 4 c very coarse hair so it also could be but was not made for my type of curls either. It didn’t burn or cause any irritation and it has been over 2 weeks now and I have washed ect. My hair again and I see nothing different. So I say try at your own risk and if you have 4c like me, it may not even be worth your time to be honest!

My hair felt dry after applying and sitting with the treatment on my hair. Hair is shiny in picture due to the KES shine heat protection.

The packaging was vey intresting considering it is my favorite color. It absorbs into my hair almost instantly. I sadly did not see a change in the volume of my hair :(

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Kristin Ess Longweat Shine Treatment is designed to provide a glossy, salon-finish shine to your hair. The instructions were easy to follow and everything is provided (including the gloves). I followed them carefully and the entire process took about 25 minutes in the shower. After washing off the product and blow drying, I noticed that my hair was significantly shinier and more glossy than usual. I was very impressed with this kit but I don’t think it’s something that I would use often. I think the other shine enhancing sprays are much easier and less time consuming so I would stick with that instead. I’m still so happy to have tried this product and maybe would consider purchasing it again for a vacation or event.

I didn't like the experience with this product as I followed the instructions and used 1/2 the product due to short hair and it dryed my hair out. I had to start using moroccan oiI which I haven't used since Hawaii.

The process to mix, apply and wait arent my favorite for at home use. Noticeable shine difference when using the product with the shampoo and conditioner.
