The coffee must be served immediately or it gets cold. Not recommended is putting a stainless pot in microwave. This is a big disappointment I like a couple of cups in the morning and so does my husband so making a pot makes sense. Nada gets cold

Q: Is the reservoir only used when making the carafe? I’m not wanting any water staying in the Keurig between using the pods. I’m wanting it to operate like the Keurig K-Mini unless I’m making a carafe of coffee.

A: Thanks for your question. The water reservoir is used for both the carafe and single serve portion of the K-Duo Plus. It does not work in the same way the K-Mini does. We hope this helps!

They want to avoid water going stagnant and growing mold there. I’m guessing it still primes water because that is how the water gets heated for both carafe and kcups.

A: It will fit on a counter under a standard upper cabinet and is completely operational, including the handle being open and removing the reservoir for refilling. A wonderfully engineered product.

Q: It isn't making the same amount of coffee. When we bought it, 12 cups made 12 cups, now 12 cups makes 6 cups. Please advise.

Our Keurig duo stopped working. It was less than one year old. After some trouble shooting on the phone with a representative ( which failed), she said they would send us a free replacement. The new one arrived in just a few days and is working perfectly! Very pleased with the service!

I really like the sleekness of this coffee machine and being able to remove the water container to fill. The only negative I’ve seen is that it doesn’t stay on long enough before automatic shutoff kicks in. I’m gone to work an hour before my husband even wakes up so I have to pour his coffee into a thermal mug. Sorry but pods just aren’t strong enough for us daily. Overall a good product!

We purchased this brewer for the dual functionality, but the carafe brew option is extremely weak using the recommended coffee ground amount per cup (one small scoop per cup) even when using the strong setting. Hopefully we can make it better by adding more coffee, but so far the carafe brew is very disappointing. The K-cup brew is fine on the strong setting.

We chose this coffee maker for the thermal carafe - it works great for us. It keeps coffee warm for a few hours without a burner over cooking it. We love the flexibility to make a single fresh cup when our schedules don’t align. The ability to change the orientation of the reservoir allowed us to configure it to fit our counter space. Great feature!

Love this! Some days I want a cup or two, others a pot. Love being able to use pods or just brew a pot! Pot keeps it hot for hours! Easy to use, setup, etc. Great compact size too! Love that I can use the water tank on either side or back depending on where you set it up. Would buy this again!

At first after it failed, when I called regarding the warranty. Challenge me that it was outside of the 12 months. Thankfully, my receipt proved them wrong. They claimed they could not understand the receipt which was very clear. And then they required me to return the one I had before getting a replacement at my expense before getting the replacement. Way too many hoops to jump thru for a defective coffee maker.
