  • A: A "cup" of coffee is generally considered to be 6 ounces water and one tablespoon of grounds. But for 12 cups, that would mean 72 ounces. Maybe they're considering a "cup" to be 5 ounces, which would use 60 ounces of water to make 12 "cups".

  • A: Sadly the carafe that comes with can't pour without spilling... Worse pour spout on a coffee pot I have ever had... Love everything about this Duo but the spills EVERY fill up!!! We have tried everything, had our guests try we can't pour a coupl of coffee without a mess...PLZ fix it as when this one dies I will get a different one just because of the carafe... we have been using ours for about a year...

  • A: Descaling regularly removes mineral build up that can affect taste and quality, ensuring your coffee maker brews a perfect cup, every time. Depending on the mineral content of your water, calcium deposits or scale may build up in your brewer. Scale is non-toxic but if left unattended can hinder brewer performance. Regularly descaling your brewer every 3 months helps maintain the heating element, and other internal parts that come in contact with water.

We loved ours until it lasted (14 months). It doesn’t come with a filter for the pot. You need to buy one for $15 (reusable). Who ever posted that is was a mess obviously didn’t read instructions and just put the coffee with no filter. I noticed started to leak water when the pods were being brewed. I noticed there was a small part that was loose and eventually broke off. Once that broke It started to spill water and coffee all over my counter. I am pretty upset it broke after the 1 year manufacturer warranty expired. So no replacement for me unfortunately. And just brewing a single pod isn’t doable anymore.

Carafe is leaking

I've had mine for about 18 months, and it still does a good job. U mainly use the carafe half and my roommate uses the single cup, and both sides are still great. The only adjustment from a "normal" drip pot is that you have less control over how much coffee to brew. However, that's to be expected, given it's design (the single series of buttons to tell it the volume), so I can't be mad at it for that. Basically, it works just as expected.

They helped trouble shoot the issue and when they couldn’t solve it sent me a new one with no issues. You don’t find customer service like this very often anymore, but they did. So happy to support a business that operates like this.

I've not been allowed to use my machine. Was given to me as a gift while battling throat cancer. Contacted support to troubleshoot shoot. Said would replace for free. Sent pics of serial number and machine. After 2 months, contacted, resent info and was told no on replacement. Unit was only 3 months old be when it stopped working. They don't back their product. Very disappointed and dissatisfied with their warranty process and commitment to satisfy and back they're product.

We started to use the K-Duo with great success and all of sudden the brewer stopped at 8 cups. I checked the power source and determined it was the unit bad.i I called the phone number for warranty but they were very helpful to submit a replacement K-Duo. I exchanged the defective unit and sent defective one back via UPS. During the time waiting for the replacement, I had bring my K-40 out retirement to enjoy my coffee. The replacement unit works great!

I contacted customer service and they honored the product warranty for which I was grateful. The replacement was delivered to my house free of charge. Great machine! Our office has had a K-Cup brewer for a while, but folks were not really using it. On a whim decided to try having the full Carafe available- and everyone loves it. No issues, easy to use, still have the k-cup function if wanted, but the morning group is very happy having the 'old fashion' carafe ready to pour in their cups.

I bought this back in March 2022, as part of the "Starter Kit", and I regret it every day. When it first arrived, the glass carafe leaked. Customer service never responded to my email inquiry, and I finally called them this month (and received the new carafe). Adding to the leaking carafe, it doesn't brew the chosen quantity - place a pod at a brew of 8 ounces, it brews almost 12, or brew a pot of 12 cups and it will only brew about ten. I don't know what's wrong with this machine, but I have absolutely come to hate it.

I had my K-Duo coffee maker a few months. It made it's last pot on a Saturday morning. I called and explained my problem. I had a new maker at my door Tuesday afternoon. That's a warranty without hassle. 5+stars for service to the buyer.

We had a Keurig and an automatic drip coffee pot on our counter. Therefore were very happy to purchase this all in one. However after 7 months the carafe stopped working! It would only brew 1/4 of water! And we don’t even use the carafe every day. If anything we use the single cup more often. Hence the rating of 3 stars. The taste and convenience is 4 or 5 rating. I was so thankful that we were within our 1 year limited warranty and Keurig replaced it for free. I hope this one lasts longer.
