The white finish has gray undertones if that matters to you. Every piece is SOLID Wood except for the drawer bottoms. It is easy and quick to put together - and HEAVY because it's solid wood. If my kids damage it, I can repair it because it's solid wood. Did I mention that it's solid wood? The feet have little risers that screw in (hidden) that can be used to adjust the height a bit or level the island on an uneven floor. Our whole family loves the island. Zero complaints. Great price for SOLID WOOD.

Easy to assemble, great quality, and looks great. It's nice to find an island that puts the extra seating on the side, instead of a drop leaf at the back. My kitchen is long and narrow, so this is perfect. I love the warm wood and gray tones, and the wood top seems durable. I may consider adding more lacquer to the top at some point, but for now it's held up and been easy to clean too. I'm used to assembling this type of furniture, and it took me just under an hour. I didn't have help, but that would be most ideal, since it's quite heavy to lift and flip.
