Battery disconnection is difficult

I want to love this jeep but the fact it's near impossible for me to disconnect the battery and I'm supposed to charge it after each use, makes it extremely frustrating. The connection is so super tight and hurts my fingers to pull it apart, or I have to try to pry it with a tool but also don't want to leave marks. I don't know if this is how they all connect, but we used to have powerwheels and that battery was much easier. Othersise, the jeep has been great so far. We've only had it two weeks.
