For the price it’s absolutely great (especially compared to other brands). I put it together solo and it took a solid 9hrs. Lots of little parts to pay attention to and I made a few mistakes. My kid loves it. Toddler 3 years old. I can’t ask for more than that.

Directions not great

THey don't tell you when it ships that you have to set up an actual delivery with the carrier to actually "GET" your shipment. The directions and diagrams were not fantastic and it took me 2 full days to assemble due to the ridiculous amount of parts that came with it. Otherwise the product itself is fantastic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] KidKraft Overlook Challenge Swing Set Playset is made with durable long-lasting wood that is aesthetically pleasing. The directions are well done for such a large piece. Some power tools definitely made the assembly easier and you do need two people for some steps. It has so many different activities that is sure to keep kids occupied for hours. I highly recommend this playset.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We LOVE this place set! It has provided so much enjoyment to our young daughters. The swing and slide are such a hit. It was somewhat intimidating to put together. The instructions are easy to follow along with but there is just a lot of pieces. It took several hours to put together and I would rate myself a handy person. Overall we are very satisfied with the play set!

My husband set this up mostly by himself (I helped with some more tricky bits since we didn’t have supports that a more serious handyperson may possess) over the course of a weekend. It is straightforward and the finished product is awesome. Feels sturdy and hopefully is built to last!

Terrific swingset for imaginative play!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the opportunity to assemble and utilize the KidKraft Overlook Challenge Swingset in my own backyard. As a mom to two children, 7-years and 4-year-old, I was seeking a playset that was versatile for ages, space savvy and something that offered a wide variety of physical activity. The Overlook Challenge Swing Set has met every expectation that we had for our backyard swing set. Assembly, the most cumbersome aspect of any new swing set was very straight forward. Assembly from start to finish took approximately 6-hours with two hands-on men. We opted to lay out pieces prior to assembly to make it easier and to sort hardware. Although the amount of hardware initially seems overwhelming, it helps to organize it by section. My husband did wish that some of the bracket sizes were made more clear from the photos, as we were looking for a component we thought would be small, and it turned out to be a large piece right in plain sight. Despite this, he was happy with the clarity of the directions. The Overlook Challenge Swing Set was an instant hit for both of our children, and I absolutely love that this set has activities for both of our children. This set has two swings, a trapeze, wavy climbing bars, a slide, a rock wall and the best part-- a shaded clubhouse! The clubhouse features a canvas roof and sidewalls with various cutouts for exploring the outside world. The colors of the components are vibrant, fun and kid friendly. My children have spent countless hours playing on this swingset and engaging in imaginative play. We are thrilled with the quality of the wood construction and components and design/layout of the set, and find the size perfect for our smaller yard. We highly recommend the KidKraft Overlook Challenge Swing Set!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The smiles I see when the kiddies are enjoying the set is priceless. There are endless amount of fun and entertainment. You can climb, run, jump, swing and play. It’s entertaining and it’s great exercise for the kiddies and it will tire them out. It’s was not the easiest thing to put together but with help it can be done.

It was fairly easy to assemble with a few extra helping hands and our son loves to play on it! It’s hard to get him to come inside! It’s the perfect size for our smaller sized yard for play time adventures!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Kidkraft Overlook Challenge Swing set is very nice and a good size for young kids. Overall, the play set is good with a few complaints. The wood is a little splintery in some areas. Instructions were slightly annoying because the pieces weren’t super well labeled. We were short a few washers because we had to use more in a few areas because the screw was too long, specifically the FW2 washer. It took my husband and I the entire day (about 8hrs) to put together the set. My son loves the monkey bars and really enjoy the new swing set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this overlook challenge swing set for my two boys, I have it set up in my yard. The set came all in 1 box and wasn’t that hard to put together. It took me a few hours but with an extra hand it probably would’ve been quicker. The kids like the swings and they slide, they have so much fun, I highly recommend if you have kids and yards to set it up

My grandson looked on as his playlet was built by his dad, grandpa and great-grandpa--they could not work fast enough for him! He loved swinging, climbing on the rock wall and going down the slide!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only had this set up for a few days and can my kid can't stay off it. It took about 4 hours to set up by myself. The directions are easy to follow. The parts are well marked. It is sturdy when set up. With the rods to keep the set supported and tied to the ground it should withstand the high winds we constantly get in Colorado. The smile that my little girl gets while playing on her new swing set really makes it worth it. A few bolts are a little to short and the wood needs to be drilled out to catch the nuts on the bolts. This is easily done with hand or power tools. This was the only part that was frustrating about the build.

Everything a kid needs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This playset has everything a kid needs! Swings, slide, clubhouse area, monkey bars, and the acrobatics bar is an especially nice touch! I love the real wood, everything we had before was plastic and it just looked a lot tackier. I think it is great for younger kids but it seems like it will grow with her. I was pleased the slide was’t too short, because that is the fastest way for a kid to out grow a playground. Now my daughter finally has a reason to put down the tablet, stop watching videos, and go play outside!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is so amazing how much is packed into this play set for kids to play with. No inch of space is wasted to maximize their fun time. This is the perfect kids sized playhouse with all the features your little kid will be bale to play for hours on. For parents, although set up takes a little awhile it is not complicated. Just make sure you have the time to devote to it to get it set up correctly and safety. I highly recommend this as it is tough to beat the value, quality and amount of fun you can get with this playset!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Overlook Challenge Swing Set is loved so much by our children. There is so much play in this set. They absolutely enjoy climbing and swinging and pretending it's a playhouse. My oldest can't get enough of the monkey bars. He's out there each day doing his best to get across them all the time. The set itself also was rather easy to build and you and you can tell it is strong and very durable. If you have littles this is definitely the swing set for you!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This playset is everything a kid could dream of. It arrived all in one saran-wrapped package. It was super easy to install, even though I was initially nervous it would not be. It had great and clear instructions on installation. Overall, it took us less than about three hours to build. There were four of us. The slide is the kids' favorite part of the swingset. The blue draping makes the playground look magical and inviting for all the neighbor kids. The quality is durable and of high quality. I would recommend this to any parent or guardian with kids ages two-ten. This is really a nice playground.
