Use the tips & visuals in this guide to make taking your child's body measurements easy-peasy.

Dont have a fabric tape measure? Use a shoelace or pant leg to measure. Then, lay it flat & use a ruler or tape measure to get a numerical measurement.

How to measure

Height

Have your child stand in front of the fridge.Mark the top of the head with a magnet. Measure a straight line from floor to magnet.
Chest

Have your child make airplane arms. Wrap tape measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping it level & snug.
Waist

With your child bending to one side, measure the point where the flexes naturally. keep the tape level & comfortably loose.
Hip

Have your child stand like a tall tree with feet together. Measure a level line around the fullest part of the hips & seat.
Inseam

Take a pair of pants that fit your child well. Measure along the seam from crotch to leg opening.

The material for this is utter garbage. Last year’s Halloween PJs were soft, stretchy and had a nice shape, with being 100% cotton but this one is “okeo-tex® standard 100” but POLYESTER. Like why would I want my child to be in a SNUG FIT PLASTIC BAG when they are lying down in bed for 9 hours?! They did this with bed sheets and other textiles in the store and I am very disappointed that I now need to check every item hasn’t been downgraded to horrible garbage quality for the same price.

These are an unacceptable replacement for previous seasons Soft and Snuggly pajamas. Now that I know what these are like I will no longer purchase pjs from Target for my daughter. It’s also really cruel to still be using the good pjs in the picture for this category but not actually offer them. Bring back the QUALITY pajamas!

I thought these were going to be like the other super soft pj's we had gotten in years past--stretchy, nice and warm. I wish I had read the other reviews because these aren't it. These are cheap, thin and not fuzzy. We are so sad, we loved the old super soft pajamas!

These pajamas pilled after the first wash. They are such a poor substitute for the snuggly soft pajamas of years past- not as soft, not as snuggly and they wash horribly. Please bring back the old fabric!

Love the pattern! I’ve been buying this pajamas for years, and this year is not the same. The fit is completely off, the material is not the same, they are horrible. Why mess with what worked for so many years? This seems to be the trend with Target boys clothes, at least. Completely disappointed. For reference, my son is a 5T (43”, 40 lbs, lean) and I had to buy the size 8 just said the top would fit, the pants do not fit at all. They completely fall off and sag…not proportionate to his body.

These pajamas fit very poorly on both of my kids. They are very difficult to get on, super long, and very slim fit. I’ve ordered pajamas from this brand plenty of times and never had these issues. The material is just very strange and has no give to it. Very disappointing.

I didn’t mind the new material until I realized they’re only two way stretch. My kids don’t have abnormally large arms but these were really tight on both my 3 year old (size 4) and 6 year old (size 6).

Terrible- nothing like last year’s cozy pajamas. These are very thin, not soft at all on the inside and I can’t imagine very warm. Last year’s cozy pajamas were wonderful in every way. These feel cheap and not meant to be warm, comfy or be durable so what’s the point?

I do like that they are soft, not sure how long that will last because this is our first wash and wear. My son wears size 6/7 in Cat and Jack for both shorts and shirts. In these pjs though, he wears a size 12. They have a little room to grow into but they are certainly cut small. Really hoping this material is only for a short time and they bring the cozy pjs back for winter.

Unfortunately I bought these before there were reviews posted or else I would have saved my money and bought elsewhere. They are soft, but it's definitely a cheaper material, I don't see them holding up well. These run so TIGHT, especially in the arms! My oldest is in 6/7 and my youngest is just going into 5T. I decided to size up and got them an 8 and a 6, figured worst case if they were huge I could save them for next year. Even sizing up I could barely get their arms through!
