Use the tips & visuals in this guide to make taking your child's body measurements easy-peasy.

Dont have a fabric tape measure? Use a shoelace or pant leg to measure. Then, lay it flat & use a ruler or tape measure to get a numerical measurement.

How to measure

Height

Have your child stand in front of the fridge.Mark the top of the head with a magnet. Measure a straight line from floor to magnet.
Chest

Have your child make airplane arms. Wrap tape measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping it level & snug.
Waist

With your child bending to one side, measure the point where the flexes naturally. keep the tape level & comfortably loose.
Hip

Have your child stand like a tall tree with feet together. Measure a level line around the fullest part of the hips & seat.
Inseam

Take a pair of pants that fit your child well. Measure along the seam from crotch to leg opening.

This jacket also has a chin strap to help protect from the cold. This would be great for the cold months for wearing to school or even playing outside for extended time. There are other colors and designs for this cute winter coat. We will be purchasing more. I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This size Small 6 or 7 Magenta Abstract Heavyweight Puffer Jacket fits my 7 year old well. The material is comfortable and warm. The design is fun while being a coat that can be worn with many clothing items. The hood is lined with faux fur and is soft and warm. The zipper is easy to use and has an overlying button enclosure with easy to snap buttons. The price is standard for this type of coat. Great winter coat. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As you can see from these photos, it is not quite winter time where we live yet. However, my daughter really liked this jacket when she saw it. She liked the quilted texture of the outside as well as the bright magenta color. On the brands scale of how warm this jacket is, it is considered in the middle of the road. It is not warm, which is the lowest section of the scale. And it is not warmest, which is the highest section of the scale. It is considered warmer, which is the middle section of the scale . My daughter is wearing the size extra, extra large. In numerical sizing, this is a 16-18. I received an incentive to write this review.

Very cute puffer winter jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This puffer jacket is very cute! I am a big fan of the color and the subtle star pattern on it. The color is like a light burgundy and very pretty. This is a size medium and fits my daughter true to size. The length in the sleeves are great. I like that the material is thick enough to keep warm but the coat doesn’t feel too heavy or bulky. I do wish this jacket was a little longer. I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 11-year-old daughter who weighs about 75 pounds is pictured you’re wearing the size 14, which is equivalent to the size extra large. We felt like this jacket fit very true to size as she typically wears between a size 12 and 14 this definitely left a little room for her to grow throughout the winter season. The jacket is extremely warm and we really liked how soft the fabric was inside. We also really liked the bright color and the iridescent shimmer on the outside. We highly recommend this jacket for winter I received an incentive to write this review.

She especially loved the puffy hood and interior material which was a fleece material for the body and Sherpa fuzzy soft material in the hood. She typically wears a size medium or large and this medium fit her perfectly but she probably could do a large instead since she needs room to grow into it. The fleece interior sleeve does extend if you cut a string which is so awesome. I received an incentive to write this review.
