This backpack was really well received by our five year old. It was a birthday present. The zippers looked to be ok quality, which is important to me. BUT the purple pompom on the zipper broke fifteen minutes after the present was opened. It definitely wasn’t attached with small kid use in mind.

So far so good. My 9 year old daughter has been using it for just a few weeks so we will see how long it lasts. She loves the soft furry panda in the front. And it’s got a decent size pocket in the front and two water bottle side pockets which is good. It is a little snug for all that she needs to fit into to but she makes it work because she really likes it!

My middle girl loves her panda backpack. She is super happy with the design and how it feels. It carries a lot, she uses it for school, sleepovers, and the beach every chance she gets. I love that it is functional and super cute. I also love the padding on the shoulder, so if the bag is heavy the straps aren't digging into her skin. Then there's also a clip on the back for added stability if needed. So far this bag had been through a couple washes, numerous trips, and school and the quality is wonderful. I have not seen even a snag so far. This backpack is definitely the way to go.
