Kinetic Sand Buried Treasure

Gosh this sand makes a mess but my toddler loves it.

Waste of money, five-year-old played with it for five minutes and that was it. Stupid toy.

Kinetic sand is just addicting to play with even as an adult. I got it for my 3 year old for sensory play. I wish there was a little bit more treasure but it's probably just the right amount for the amount of sand there is.

All of the little items were missing. Only had weird grainy sand (not usual kinetic type sand). Waste of money.

Super fun toy. Sand lasts forever

Cutest little toy. I brought this out about a week ago and set the Treasure Chest on the stand next to our granddaughter’s kitchen. She saw it yesterday and asked me to unwrap it. She was so excited and played with it for an hour straight in the morning before library story hour, then another hour after her nap. The kinetic sand is a great consistency, not too hard, or soft so she can make cutouts using cookie cutters, can bury the treasure chest items in the sand, then search for them and take them out. She’s 28 months and figured out how to unlock the chest with the key. She absolutely loves this toy. It’s not a super sturdy item, but was definitely worth the few dollars it cost. She does not use the scooper to dig in the sand, but uses her fingers. A smaller scooper would have been better, but it’s a great toy! Also it’s difficult to get the key out of its storage spot on the bottom of the chest so we only store it in there after playtime.

This was a cute little set up. The key is located on the bottom. Once unlocked there is a good amount of sand with 2 little gems and a small figure. The gems and figure are choking size so not ideal for kids who put stuff in their mouth (easy enough to remove). The price was spot on for what it is.

My 4 year old (even 13 year old) loved this! It has a couple of tiny shovels and some “treasurers”.

My toddler loved this! He patiently dug out the gems and coins and then had fun playing with the sand afterwards. It was also much easier to keep clean since the sand sticks to itself. For $5 you can’t go wrong.

We love this toy. I got it in addition to other gifts for her birthday. We didn’t initially play with it but now she loves mushing the sand between her fingers and setting up her “inside beach”. The hidden treasure is amazing as it keeps the activity engaging and perfect to just toss in your purse or diaper bag and take as an on the go activity. Not super messy.

Fun little activity to keep on hand for a rainy day for the kids. Kinetic sand is a much easier clean up than most crafts.

My 7 yr old granddaughter loves this!!! And it was so economical!!

Kept my 2 year old busy for hours! I just hide the treasure again and again and again. FYI - don’t just rip off the outer label, carefully remove it because it shows the treasures that you could find inside.

This sand is a lot of fun! It kept my 7 year old entertained for hours!

My child loves this, I need to purchase like 20 more of these sands to fill up the small sand box to have sensory play.

Waste of money, no re-play value

Bought for Party favors for a couple 3 and 5 year olds. They loved it! Kept them busy and entertained.

Great quality sand, enough surprise items to feel worth it & cute treasure chest- I made a scavenger hunt of clues leading to the treasure & my boys loved it!

My 3 year old loves this. The sand sticks together really well, he loves going in search of the little items that come buried in it and it's the perfect size for on-the-go fun. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the mini shovel is very difficult to get off the bottom of the chest, so I always have to help my son. Regardless, it's such a great item for a toddler.

Easy for my 2 and 4 year old to use. Kept them busy on and off all day as they found the treasures and hid them again. Would buy again.
