My beard isn't as thick as I want it to be so I've been using this daily and it's thickening up. I apply it daily after I shower and it doesn't have any odors or colors that might stain my skin. It doesn't burn or cause irritation either. I recommend this if you want to keep up with your beard and improve it's growth

I immediately liked the way it made my beard feel and gave it a bit of a shine. It smells great, feels good going on and a great addition to the morning routine. I keep my beard trimmed. However, I did notice those areas were I was a bit "patchy" have started getting thicker.

Ha-ha just kidding… But I would have to agree with her, my beard and skin are always smelling phenomenal, the Bergamot and Cedar notes are the stars here. I recently started using King C. Gillette’s Beard Thickener and have been applying to my beard daily for over the last month now and so far, I am happy with it. The vitamin b complex & caffeine that’s in the thickener has also helped a lot with keeping the skin underneath my beard in good condition. The thickener comes in a 1.7 fl. Oz. glass bottle with a pump dispenser, the consistency is lightweight, and you don’t need a lot as it coats the beard pretty good. There is a slight cooling sensation to the skin under the beard hair when applying but it quickly dries, and your skin feels amazingly soft. The thickener also conditions and softens the hair giving you an overall fuller, thicker appearance. I have only used for a few weeks, and I am beyond pleased with the results thus far. I would also recommend checking out the other beard products King C. Gillette has to offer especially the beard balm or oil, which is a great follow up to the thickener. Your beard will thank you.

I'm not sure how well it would work in the long run - I couldn't stand the smell of it. After one application, I had to swap to a new product, because I couldn't really tolerate the scent they used for it. Maybe it'll work out for some people, just not for me.

I was noticing those areas were getting thicker as I continued use the product. I am not ready to fully grow out my beard but I am more confident in the results if I decided to after using Gillette’s beard thickener.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got this beard thickener, while I know that nothing will grow hair that isn’t going to grow. I’m not sure what this does either. It does feel nice on my face and it smells like a fresh shave when I put it on but as far as the appearance of more thickness, maybe my beard isn’t long enough. I keep it about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch in length and I didn’t notice any visual difference while using the product.

Right after my morning beard combing, I apply the thickener throughout it and makes every strand work with each other. I don't worry so much about hair getting in my mouth when eating. It smells nice and lemony. It's better than some beard balms, and creams I've tried in the past. This won't leave you with a greasy residue that you need to wash afterwards.

While it is hard to tell if it really makes your beard thicker, it definitely does not have any downside to using it. Vitamin B complex and caffeine are good for your skin so even if it has minimal impact on the thickness of your beard it will make it and your skin appear healthier. Overall, this is a solid product that I have no complaints with, but I think that it also has a limited upside - don't expect to have a full, bushy beard just because you use this every day.
