About this item

Highlights

  • Kingsford Long Burning Charcoal Briquettes
  • Premium long lasting ingredients
  • Ready to cook in about 15 minutes
Kingsford Long-Burning Charcoal Briquettes let you keep the heat going with less frequent refills than Kingsford Original Briquettes. These charcoal briquettes are made with a blend of premium chars and burn 25% longer as compared to Kingsford Original Briquettes. Kingsford Long-Burning Charcoal Briquettes are the premium fuel for grillers to fire up large cuts of meat for big gatherings and long BBQs. This low ash formula is great for grilling and smoking; the charcoal briquettes heat quickly and are ready to cook on in about 15 minutes. The natural ingredients and real wood deliver an authentic smoky flavor. This 6.0 pound bag of charcoal is perfect for big parties or picnics. Add Kingsford Long-Burning Charcoal Briquettes to your barbecue supplies and make all of your delicious cookouts last longer.

Usage Directions: Stack briquettes in a pyramid. Add lighter fluid following lighter fluid directions. Light charcoal. Leave grill uncovered. Flames will die out while the briquettes continue to burn and start to ash over. Spread briquettes in a single layer when covered in ash (in about 15 minutes). Begin cooking.

Caution Statements: Never use gasoline to light charcoal, do not add lighter fluid directly to burning or hot charcoal. Make sure ashes are cold before discarding. Never burn charcoal inside homes, vehicles, or tents (burning charcoal gives off carbon monoxide, which has no odor). Barbecue away from flammable items, overhangs, and trees. Store briquets in a cool, dry place. Prop 65 warning: combustion (burning) of this product, like other cooking methods, produces carbon monoxide and other substances known by the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects or reproductive harm.

I started my smoker this morning at 9:30. It's now 3:30, these coals are still going and I still have ...see moreof the reviewer's review

Charcoaling Briscut and ribs as many of you know is a very involved process having to add or subtract coals every half hour or so to keep temp. T...see moreof the reviewer's review

I tried using this product to do a low heat smoking cook in my bbq grill. This is the coal I had, so I set them up in the snake method. The dang things light too easily and the snake didn't burn in a small section at a time. Don't buy these for low and slow, use these for everything else.see moreof the reviewer's review
