This cut my hands in 4 places. Every joint on the metal is sharp. Also, it's too bulky. The packaging doesn't say it's for soda cans. I'm not sure why anyone would want a bulky heavy metal can holder in the refrigerator when sodas come in cases that act as a dispenser and are much lighter weight and more compact. It's not usable for vegetable and soup cans. They get stuck.
I am glad I didn't read the reviews before purchasing. I picked this up at the store because I needed space-saving can storage and this seemed sturdy and well made. I am really loving the quality and maybe the size issue was fixed in the new batches because it fits all sizes of cans for the exception of the 32 oz extra tall and wide cans, I put those on top. I have eleven cans there at the moment, all different sizes. I have 2 32oz on and 6 6oz on top. I also dont have the problem of the cans flying off when I fill it. Again something that seems to have been fixed. I am going to purchase a few more of these, along with the rest of the collection.
It feels like a solid piece but does take up a lot of space in the fridge. We loaded some soda cans in but found the track was not wide enough. We had to go in and physically pull it wide enough for cans to roll freely... Unfortunately, it still has issue of cans missing the back area to roll to the bottom half and it ends up turning to the wrong direction and blocking the rest of cans.
I bought this with the intention to use this to hold my soup cans in the pantry. Initially I was very impressed by the quality of the structure and was really excited to use it. Then I tried to put my larger soup cans (progresso) into it, and it didn't fit. I tried my smaller, more standard sized cans. Still didn't fit.
I'm assuming this is probably for soda cans so I will be returning it. But if you need this for slim cans, I do recommend it. It's quite nice and economical.
