The best toaster I have bought yet

5 out of 5 stars
Matthew — 5 years ago
I like this toaster alot because when the toast is ready to pop up it goes all the way up and it's so much easy to reach in and get the toast out without sticking something in there to get it out. I bought this toaster in the store and they only had one left on the shelve that day so I took it. I al...  see moreof Matthew's review

    Love a red toaster!

At first, I was hesitant to order this toaster because the red looked a bit more muted in the photo. A Presidents Day sale convinced me to give it a try and I was excited to see that the toaster is a bright red lacquer that perfectly matches all of my other Kitchen Aid items. And it has a bagel sett...  see moreof ecodes's review

      Suits My Needs Well

      4 out of 5 stars

I am quite satisfied with this toaster. I believe it toasts better than the [...] toaster it replaced. The toasting is more even, especially when I toast bagels. When I toast my bagels, I use the "4" setting on the dial and press the Bagel button. The toaster only toasts the inside of my bagel, and ...  see moreof 's review

        Just OK

I've used this toaster for a couple of weeks, and I'm basically satisfied but not blown away by it. The toast does get pretty dark. I leave it on the lowest setting, and that works for me. It doesn't get burnt. It does seem to toast more evenly when there are two slices in there rather than just one...  see moreof 's review

Others have noted that this toaster toasts unevenly and burns almost everything. TRUE. Mine is six months old but it's been junk since the day I bought it. I expected KitchenAid to be a quality product, now I know better.  see moreof JCo's review

            Returning

Nice looking toaster but you have to force the handle down in order it to lock in. Prefer a toaster that takes 1 finger to push down toast not 2 hands.  see moreof Paige's review

              Terrible, cheaply made.

I had to return this toaster after giving it as a Christmas present to my parents. It was incapable of toasting bread evenly. One side burned while the other only half toasted. KitchenAid should stick to mixers!  see moreof Adam L's review

[...] If I would've seen it in person, I wouldn't have registered for it. It's a lot bigger than what I expected and the metal looks a little cheap. We used it about 3 months before it broke. The lever wouldn't stay down so we had to figure out a way to wedge something in it to keep it down to toast...  see moreof Lindsay's review
