I love my Kitchen Aid mixer and use it often. The last two days I've spent making Valentine cookies for grade school party next week. Tonight I noticed a large chip of enamel has come off my white coated flat beater. But where is the chip? I'm just sick to think the chip is somewhere in the cookie...see moreof the reviewer's review

I've had my mixer 5 years now and usually pull it out about 6 times a year. This beater has now started chipping everywhere (and no it is not from hitting the sides of the bowl) Horrible!!!! Wish it has come with a burnished one like the artisan models. How is it that the cheaper models come with...see moreof the reviewer's review

Bought my Kitchenaid mixer in 2004, and the coated flat beater finally began chipping earlier this year. I replaced it with a new one from Kitchenaid, but after 3 months it is already chipping. Unacceptable and disappointed in the quality.see moreof the reviewer's review

I only used this two or three times and the beater chipped. I bought this mixer for my bed and breakfast and couldn't serve coffee cake to guests with enamel shards in it. Very disappointing.see moreof the reviewer's review

Purchased and started using this coated beater less than 3 months ago. This weekend I realized base of it had chipped and found the fragment in my cookie dough. So I lost the use of the beater and had to toss my product as I could not assure chips weren't in dough. Very frustrating with quality of p...see moreof the reviewer's review

I am on my third coated flat beater. Every one has chipped. I wanted to order the burnished one but that one has terrible reviews also. I would never buy another KitchenAid product. I bake for a local charity. The children already have compromised immune systems without having flakes of whatever in ...see moreof the reviewer's review

I've been using KitchenAid stand mixers since I was a kid. My mom's 40-yo KitchenAid stand mixer (used frequently for 40 years) has the original 40-yo coated flat beater that has never chipped! I had a KitchenAid coated flat beater with a stand mixer (purchased approx year 2000) that never chipped. ...see moreof the reviewer's review

Wrong picture in listing

The photo in the listing does not match the product. I wanted a 4.5Q beater, which is pictured, but what got was the 6Q. Since my KitchenAid mixer is over 15 years old, the model number is no longer relevant. My fault for not noticing that in the "item details". If the listing TITLE could CLEAR...see moreof the reviewer's review
