I've only had my kitchenaid mixer for about a week, but I know these will last a long, long time and do a great job. If you bake, this is the ideal. The bowl fits in a little differently from others I've used, but once you figure it out, it is fine. I like that I can adjust the height of the bowl...see moreof the reviewer's review

There are certain things it does well, and others I'm convinced that it wasn't made for and that a hand mixer is the better choice. Although, being 45 and having RA since I was 14, the less hand mixer work I do, the better off I am. Got the mixer I've always wanted at greater than 50% off. I coul...see moreof the reviewer's review

This is the 4th KitchenAid 5 quart mixer I have owned. I burned out the 325 watt motors on the old ones. I don't know what I did on the first. The second happened while kneading bread (now the dough hook is marked as not going over the first speed). The last one stopped while grinding a chuck roast ...see moreof the reviewer's review

I have always wanted a KitchenAid mixer and the price was good on this model. so I bought it recently and have used it twice. I am having problems getting my cookie batter and mashed potatoes smooth; they were both lumpy. I don't like the fact that I have to turn the mixer off and on to scrap the si...see moreof the reviewer's review

Bought this as a gift for my wife to replace the 4.5 Qt KitchenAid mixer that she had for over 10 years that suddenly stopped working. The first one that I got was defective and was replaced. This one is is a lot louder than the one we had and it shakes when we set it at high speed. The mixing bowl ...see moreof the reviewer's review

BIG ISSUE: the black film on the mixer bowl. I read the previous complaints about this in the review, and had some black come off onto a wet paper towel, so I *very thoroughly* washed the bowl with hot water, Dawn dish soap, and a scrub brush. It seemed to be enough, until I was pouring the batter i...see moreof the reviewer's review

This is my first Kitchenaid mixer, and I love all it does. It is an amazing asset to my kitchen. I use it all the time. CON (and this is huge!): This mixer model does NOT have a tilting head. It is very hard to add ingredients to the bowl unless you turn it off and lower the bowl. Even then the spac...see moreof the reviewer's review
