Krave Sweet Chipotle Beef Jerky - 2.7oz

I bought this jerky looking for a 'sweet & spicy' flavor profile; I usually go for the Jack Links Sweet & Spicy, but they didn't have that at my local Target, so I grabbed this instead. The flavor was just... weird. Not "bad" per-se, but definitely NOT good... more of a mismatch that just didn't work. TOO sweet, with not enough salty / savory to balance it out. To make matters worse, the cuts of meat in the bag I got were gristly and fatty. I would not buy this particular flavor again, nor would I recommend it to anyone.

I love most Krave jerkies, especially the bbq purple bag. I have a pretty broad palette, like a lot of things, and can handle a decent amount of heat. But this was honestly just disgusting. It was bitter and left a rancid aftertaste. It was in date and wasn’t spoiled. It was just gross

I liked the texture of the jerky and would try other flavors from this brand. I just couldnt get over the taste that lingers afterwards. This is a snack to eat at home unless you want to walk around smelling like jerky breath. It was kind of steep in price for the flavor it came with.

I don’t like the taste and texture of traditional jerky. I love all the krave brand jerkies that I have tried. Spicy and lot of flavor and no too hard.

Something was wrong with the bag we got. It seems soft but it’s stuck together and impossible to separate. Had to throw it out.

I remember many years ago when I considered this brand the best. Back then, other brand's meats were hard and dry. I even ordered Krave online when it started disappearing from store shelves. However, this is my second time buying Krave this year because I discovered that the quality of meat is not what it used to. The meat is so cartilegey, soft but very tough to bite off, so much so that I had to give up eating one large piece. Sad to say this is my last time buying this brand :/

I like some of their flavors but this is sugary in a bad way with little other flavor (and certainly no chipotle).

Leave makes the best beef jerky hands down. It’s tender and tasty. I hate Target isn’t carrying as many different flavors as they used to!

I don’t know if the bag I got wasn’t good but the pieces were nowhere near tender. The flavor itself was okay, not the best but not the worst either.

So delicious! A little overpriced but delicious.

Every time i bought these so far they've always been very tasty and tender. very few fatty pieces and a nice kickin flavor. definitely worth eating!
