Kristin Ess Titanium Curling Iron for Beach Waves & Curls for Short Hair - 1"

Truly the worst curling iron I’ve ever owned. Shuts off mid-curl. Curls don’t hold no matter what you do. I’m 90% sure it never reaches the advertised temperature.

it worked pretty decent with curls . but kept turning off in the middle of curling my hair & on top of that the entire handle broke off of it to where i had absolutely no way of opening it .

The curling iron heats up quickly and has three different temperature settings. The cord is very long and the curling iron has an elegant look!

This is my very favorite curling iron. The width of the barrel is perfect for my hair type (medium strands, thick hair, slightly wavy), and I love the different temperature settings. I can use this iron, and so can my curly-haired sister because of those heat settings. The clamp is nice and tight, but it's not so tight that you can't get your hair out. I usually curl my hair by clamping fairly high up and then dragging the iron down to smooth my hair before wrapping it from the bottom, and this iron is great for that because it clamps so tightly without yanking out my hair. I have used this iron on a bob and on long mermaid-length hair, and while I have to adjust my technique a little, this iron has never failed me. Two seemingly minor things that are actually huge are the tip that stays cool and the fact that the cord swivels where it meets the iron. When I'm curling someone else's hair, that stay-cool tip makes all the difference, and the swiveling cord prevents a tangled wire because, no matter how many times I rotate the iron, the cord never get stuck. Those two qualities say to me that Kristin Ess knows what she's doing because she herself is a professional hairstylist and has probably worked with hundreds of curling irons. I love this curling iron, and I highly recommend it to anyone who asks for my opinion.

It’s definitely a deal. I wish there was a little more control with the heat settings but the titanium is smooth on my hair. I had a curling iron that kept catching and getting my hair caught in the bottom and ripping it out 😤 This glides easily and gives great waves! I like to put a comb through it to get loose waves for the day.

No matter what I try, my curls with this iron do not last more than a couple hours. I've tried with product, without product, letting them cool completely, etc. With other irons/wands my hair holds it's curl for days. This one just falls flat

I was so excited to get this Kristin Ess curler. Literally as I was going to make the second curl the handle/clip broke. It wasn’t just the spring it was the entire part of the handle separated so that it couldn’t be opened. Burned myself in the process. First curl was great thats why I’m so disappointed.

I am very happy with this curling iron! It heats up quick and makes lasting curls. I threw all my other irons away!!

Worked great but many times it would just say errr when I turned it on and would take like 20 tries just to get it to heat up

Love this curling iron! It works very well on my thick, coarse hair. If you have finer hair, maybe the ceramic tools would be better. This one is quick, effective, and my curls last longer than with other curling irons I've used in the past.

I am enjoying my Curling Iron along with beautiful curls. The only thing is the end tip gets pretty hot. I just have to pay more attention. Very happy with the and would recommend to others.

This curling iron is amazing. For the price I am shocked at how well it works. The iron gets hot very fast, and also curls very fast. Curls hold the entire day when I use this (with hairspray). I am also obsessed with the cord being so long, so much longer than any curler or straightener I’ve ever owned. Makes it very easy to use it. 10/10 recommend!!! Run don’t walk to buy!

Easy to handle and heats up very quickly!

I have thin, shoulder length hair and it gave me super cute beach wave curls that lasted all day. It didn’t make my hair smell burnt and was really easy to use and comfortable to hold. The clamp was tight and held really well.

I love it! I was skeptical about seeing the bad reviews but it works so well! I have never been able to curl my hair but after using this curling iron it makes it so easy. I love it 10/10 recommend!

Cheap product - plastic thumb piece broke and the warranty process to return or replace it is complicated. I’ve never had a curling iron break after such a short period of time! Don’t buy this product! It’s a waste of money!

This worked amazingly well for curling, however the cool touch tip melted completely off the very first time I used it… how did this make it through testing? Super bummed. Otherwise it would have been awesome. I would exchange it, but I feel like this is just going to happen again.

Beautiful curling iron that works. Heats up super fast! The style seems to last longer than when I used my other curling iron (ceramic). Because it rotates, my hair doesn’t get tangled. I really like this one and hope it lasts.
