Kristin Ess Ionic Professional Blow Dryer, Smoothing & Frizz Control - 1875W

I loved it but I had it just a few months when the heating element went out and now it only blows cold air.

It never heated up, the dryer didn’t look like it had been returned when I opened it. When I went to use it, only cool air came out. I even left it on for about 10 min to heat up and it never did.

Heating element stopped working after a couple months. Only used couple times a week.

This is a fantastic dryer at a great price point! I just recently tried out 3 high priced dryers, all $200 - 300. Not 1 came with a diffuser attachment - something I wanted to use with my Velcro rollers. 2 of the 3 had an 1875 watt motor, 9' cord, 3 heat settings & 2 airflow settings, a cool shot button. All were about 1-1.5lbs. This Kristin Ess dryer has ALL that + the concentrator nozzle & diffuser included. What I also love about this dryer is actually gets hot enough to say it has a "high heat" setting. The tools are fantastic, the diffuser is comparable in size to the 1 I had to purchase seperately for 1 of the high priced dryers. I don't find this any louder than a typical dryer, I'd say it's just over 1lb in weight; for me, quite comfy. I have naturally fine, long straight hair & plenty of it; frizz isn't a big deal for me but the Kristin Ess dryer has an "I On, I Off" button - it can be turned on to smooth hair or turned off to add more volume & texture. I like that feature! It also has a little rubber circle/hanging hook (you can see it in the photo on the Target website) & I love that. So convenient because I hang my dryer behind my bathroom door. FYI, when I first plugged in this dryer it immediately blew cold air - the cold shot button was depressed & there's not a light to indicate that feature like the "I On, I Off". My package arrived super fast, in perfect condition. The cord is perfect. Everything about it feels high quality. I can remove the back to rinse off any dust as it accumulates. My hair looks amazing, but that's because it's healthy & I use great products & tools, Kristin Ess included. :) SO HAPPY I chose this dryer, highly recommend!

LOVE this thing. Got it 2 yrs ago and it's still going (hope this doesn't jinx it). I use it once a week or so. It does wonders for my frizz and is quick drying if need be.

I absolutely LOVE this hair dryer. The Ionic button really makes a difference on preventing volume and frizz, which is GREAT. I use this, along with the Kristen Ess leave in conditioner and Blow dry spray, and my hair always dries smooth and has way less visible heat damage than my other dryer left it with. This is well worth the price.

After 1 month..it stopped blowing out hot hair. Broken.

I don't blow dry my hair often, but when I do, I am beyond happy to do it with this blow dryer. I always rough dry until my hair is mostly dry, and then I put on the smoothing attachment to finish the job. I don't have curly hair, so I don't think I've ever taken the diffuser out of the box, but I love that it's provided and I know that it's easy to attach. I'm not someone that likes to blow dry my hair at the highest heat setting, so I appreciate the "warm" setting, especially coupled with the highest speed. I have thick hair, so it usually does take a while and multiple sections to properly blow dry my hair, so I'm under that heat for a while. I'm not a professional hairstylist, so I never finish with a salon-quality blowout, but I do feel like that warm setting saves my hair from extra damage. I really enjoy the cool shot, but I haven't used the ion button much, so I can't vouch for its effectiveness. All in all, this is a fabulous blow dryer that I definitely think is worth a shot.

I LOVE THIS DRYER. I got it for Christmas last year and it has never had any issues like other reviews describe. My hair has been so much less frizzy and it makes my hair so soft.

I love this dryer. Some of the reviews seen like they're for petty reasons; the box is broken so you leave a bad review? The cord is tangled and you don't want to take the time to untangle it so you leave a bad review? That's unfair to the product. Also- I'm wondering if those that are saying it doesn't blow hot hair realize it may be because the child hair button might have been pushed. I'll say that's the ONE thing that i would like improved- there's no light to indicate if the cold air is on like there is for the Ion feature. This is probably my first "expensive" hair dryer so í can only compare it to other store bought Conair brands but i am DEFINITELY happy i bought this hair dryer! It's been amazing! Having 4 temperature options, 3 intensity settings and an Ion setting (though i don't know why this wouldn't be standard) has been fantastic! Highly recommend!

I really like the hairdryer but the box it was delivered in was damaged and the inside packaged was also very damaged and in pieces, so hoping that the product isn’t damaged or defective.

Love all the different settings and how easy it is to use. It is a little heavy but definitely doable.

Unfortunately, I loved this blow dryer but it broke after eight months of use. It is under warranty for two years but after reaching out to customer service multiple times, I still have had no response. I am incredibly disappointed and will not recommend Kristin Ess products as the warranty is not actually supported.

I really like it. I’ve read previous reviews that says it starts loosing the heat and blows cold. If you hit the cool air.. it will go back to hot. My hair is very fine and thin and it’s really helped it get back to healthy. The ion button is a nice feature as well.

Love this dryer. My hair is so much more manageable- less frizzy and more shiny. I haven’t had any problems with it!

This blow dryer has the worst cord of any small appliance I’ve ever had. The dryer itself is ok, but I would not repurchase because of the cord alone.

DO. NOT. BUY. I have had for literally 4 MONTHS, Got it for Christmas and have used MAYBE 5 times and does not blow hot air. Should have believed the reviews. This product SUCKS!!

Used this MAYBE 15 times and no longer blows out hot I air. More like ice cold air. I knew I should have stuck with my $30 dryer that will lasts me a couple years.

I just received this blow dryer as a birthday gift Sunday 3/12/22 and used it for the first time on 3/18/22 and I am very disappointed as this was a gift along with the hair straightener and curling iron and the blow dryer will not heat up. Blows cool air only. The cool air would not dry my hair.
