Here's the deal: If you wake up with tangles and frizz, your pillowcase is probably the culprit. Sleeping on a satin pillowcase helps your hair retain its natural oils, and unlike cotton pillowcases, it doesn't pull, create tension or cause breakage.
Don't even get me started on the KEH French Pin. Once you get the hang of it, it's a game changer for throwing your hair in a quick, chic bun.
Tip: Combining the Kristin Ess Hair French Pin + a satin pillowcase can extend the life of your style and minimize tangles + frizz in a big way.
I love these pins! I already had the larger one, but was excited to get a smaller size as well for times I don’t want to put all of my hair up. I watched Kristin Ess’ tutorial on how to put these in, and they work great, even for my fine, slippery hair. The large pin will be perfect for a gift. I haven’t tried the pillow case yet, but it seems to be nice quality and is so soft.
My hair is too short to try the pins, but the pillowcase is just polyester. The description states satin with the material being metal (obviously the metal is in regards to the pins), but I thought it'd be higher end satin. Polyester is a cheap unnatural fabric and I will be returning mine.
Such a great gift set that I of course bought for myself. I love the pillowcase and have noticed my hair is smoother and unmessy in the morning. I really love the chic look of the french pin and they are easy to use. A little struggle with keeping my hair up with it but I have long and thick hair.
I am OBSESSED with these pins!! I admit I have not tried the pillowcase yet. The pins take a couple tries to get the hang of, but they are super thick/great quality and absolutely BEAUT for the price! My hair is about 2-2.5 inches past my shoulders, and I find that I like the larger pin for my big buns. They’re perfect for making a plain bun look chic!
