It would never turn on. I had to turn it on with a Bobby pin from the beginning. I didn’t take it back because I was desperate at the time. It quit working after 6 months. Super disappointing.

Your hair gets caught at the bottom of the clamp and the barrel and tears out your hair. I wanted to splurge and buy a nice curling iron but I feel like I wasted my money.

This iron is the BEST all hair types makes lasting beach waves or short sets stay and I have 12 iron all different sizes the one to use all ways

Great iron except every minute or two the thing shuts off so you’re constantly turning it back on. Very annoying

I really like this curling iron. I didn’t have the issues others have had until the clip on the handle broke. Its useless now. 🥴 It was great until it wasnt.

I really like this curling iron for big, bouncy curls! Heats up super quick, easy curl design, and I appreciate the auto off on this as I always worry if I turned my curler off or not. Great price and great curler!!!

This curling iron makes the best wavy curls so easily! Hair slides right through it with no damage. Totally worth the price.

I purchased this curling iron and before a year it kept turning off every couple mins. Then it completely turned off. It was impossible to get the company to respond to my email. Finally received a new one and that one keeps shutting off. The curling iron makes my hair look and feel nice, but it’s not wired correctly. What’s the sense to purchase one when it never stays on

Truly the worst curling iron I’ve ever owned. Shuts off mid-curl. Curls don’t hold no matter what you do. I’m 90% sure it never reaches the advertised temperature.

it worked pretty decent with curls . but kept turning off in the middle of curling my hair & on top of that the entire handle broke off of it to where i had absolutely no way of opening it .

The curling iron heats up quickly and has three different temperature settings. The cord is very long and the curling iron has an elegant look!

This is my very favorite curling iron. The width of the barrel is perfect for my hair type (medium strands, thick hair, slightly wavy), and I love the different temperature settings. I can use this iron, and so can my curly-haired sister because of those heat settings. The clamp is nice and tight, but it's not so tight that you can't get your hair out. I usually curl my hair by clamping fairly high up and then dragging the iron down to smooth my hair before wrapping it from the bottom, and this iron is great for that because it clamps so tightly without yanking out my hair. I have used this iron on a bob and on long mermaid-length hair, and while I have to adjust my technique a little, this iron has never failed me. Two seemingly minor things that are actually huge are the tip that stays cool and the fact that the cord swivels where it meets the iron. When I'm curling someone else's hair, that stay-cool tip makes all the difference, and the swiveling cord prevents a tangled wire because, no matter how many times I rotate the iron, the cord never get stuck. Those two qualities say to me that Kristin Ess knows what she's doing because she herself is a professional hairstylist and has probably worked with hundreds of curling irons. I love this curling iron, and I highly recommend it to anyone who asks for my opinion.

Loved the weight of this curling iron and how easy it was to use. Owned it less then 2 months and it keeps turning off when I’m in the middle of curling my hair

It’s definitely a deal. I wish there was a little more control with the heat settings but the titanium is smooth on my hair. I had a curling iron that kept catching and getting my hair caught in the bottom and ripping it out 😤 This glides easily and gives great waves! I like to put a comb through it to get loose waves for the day.

No matter what I try, my curls with this iron do not last more than a couple hours. I've tried with product, without product, letting them cool completely, etc. With other irons/wands my hair holds it's curl for days. This one just falls flat

I was so excited to get this Kristin Ess curler. Literally as I was going to make the second curl the handle/clip broke. It wasn’t just the spring it was the entire part of the handle separated so that it couldn’t be opened. Burned myself in the process. First curl was great thats why I’m so disappointed.

I am very happy with this curling iron! It heats up quick and makes lasting curls. I threw all my other irons away!!
