Tried this on a whim. I saw the words air dry and knew I had to try it. I have wavy hair. I feel like it dried quicker and left the wave in it without making it frizzy. I will be using again.

I wanted a cheaper alternative to a prestige brand's air dry cream so I tried this. The heavy perfume scent is off-putting and even in sparing amounts, it weighs my fine, thin hair down and makes it look greasy. Might be fine for thicker hair, but it's a no go for my hair type.

Real person who really bought this with their own money. I have lots of fine 2c/3a hair, so my curls can be easily weighed down and look like a poofy tangly mess. This stuff is great. Never knew I could use such a light hold product and trust my hair to just… do its thing. And I love how it smells. Plus the price is right. Try it out if your hair is like mine.

OK. I LOVEEEEEEE THIS THING. I have been using it for almost three years, and i don’t know why i’ve never written a review so here it goes. I started using it cause i was looking for any product to help with my frizz. I tried A LOT and nothing helped, no oils, creams, leave in conditioner, hair masks nothing was able to tame it. So when i tried this it changed everything. I put it on when my hair is still wet (not dripping wet but 90% wet hahah), the amount you use its going to depend on the amount of hair you have but you wont need a lot, and i also just comb it through with my fingers, then another product that also helps a ton with frizz its the OUAI hair oil( it is expensive but believe me it WORKS) so i also use that after the kristen ess air dry crème and i don’t brush my hair wet, i comb it in the shower when im rinsing the conditioner and then i brush it once it’s 100% dry. (and i air dry it ALWAYS) (: also my hair has years of heat and bleach damage and kinda wavy.

I like the idea of this more than I like the actual product. You can tell the Kristin Ess products are designed from a hairstylist point of view. Which is great but it makes for a confusing experience for the average consumer. I’m not sure what the difference is between this and the curl cream. The smell is great though. Her products all smell like Byredo Mojave Ghost.

i bought this with pretty low expectations, as i don’t have wavy hair or extremely straight hair, and i’ve never been able to find a product that helps my hair to air dry well. i almost never use heat on my hair and always let it air dry on its own, and it tends to get some frizz around my crown area. this crème works so well for my hair! it looks like i got a blow-out almost but it also accentuates my natural hair type which, again isn’t totally straight but isn’t quite wavy either. i love this product! it also smells amazing!

This used to be a great product - great smell and had the perfect amount of hold to allow for air drying hair while still keeping hair smooth and free of frizz. They must have reformulated because now the product is much more watery than before (I compared it to an old bottle of product that I had stashed away for travel), the smell is very diluted, and it no longer provides any hold or frizz control to hair. Instead, it's basically as effective as airdrying your hair without any product. Why are we paying $12+ for it then? Terrible reformulation to save money while still charging us the same price. As mentioned before, I recently used an old bottle of this product I had put away for travel. I used it while traveling, and it worked just as well as the product used to. It's 100% a reformulation to a cheap, bad quality product.

This is my desert island beauty product pick. Effortless and great results. I also thought it caused greasy hair at first but once I started using a little less and on damper hair, game changed! It leaves my hair soft and smooth without weighing it down. I like the scent and don’t find it too strong— it doesn’t carry very long after your hair dries anyway.

effortless softness, frizz-defying. took me like half a bottle to get used to the smell (it smells girly and i'm a guy), but thats the only downside i can see. this just becomes part of the shower routine so easily, you dont even have to think about it. you squeeze some out, run your fingers through your hair and fix it up, boom, perfect natural hair. crazy. such a stark difference from Sun Bum's "cream" (it's practically gel). if you're on the fence, get this instead.

This really is my favorite product!! I have fine wavy hair and love to use this to scrunch into my damp hair in the mornings for some extra bounce and definition. It's also worked great for me for a slicked back bun, or for taming fly aways on the top of my head. It doesn't leave my hair feeling crunchy and I think it feels pretty light and soft. I love it!

Strong fragrance that irritated my sinuses. I like the product, but I can't use it because my nose runs constantly when I do. Was a waste of money. I did try the smell in the store, but it was much stronger when I put it in my hair. I was hoping it would lighten up with time, but it doesn't seem to.
