Sturdy bench, well made, and very easy to assemble. Using as a side bench in living room.

My only con is the packaging--the styrofoam left so many little bits that I ended up vacuuming the actual bench!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a wooden dinner with 4 chairs. I have been wanting to add a bench because it can keep the kids sit in the same place. Finally, I got this bench and couldn't be happier. It's very easy to put all the parts together. Not heavy and easy to move around. I love the finish touch and color cause it matches my dining set perfectly. With this bench, there are so many way sto use it, like in dining room, backyard, laundry room, bedroom, etc. For me, it's worth every dime.

Our cat seems to love it as well, he loves to lay on it as it is cool and refreshing. Was easy to build and set up and goes great almost anywhere.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Kyoto Wooden Bench is about 42 in wide and just over 17 inches tall. The depth is also under 12 inches which makes it easy to fit behind a door in the foyer. I really like that it's a dark espresso looking wood. The bench was really easy to put together and came with the exact amount of screws and washers. It also came with two different sizes of Allen drivers. I was a bit disappointed that the bench weight total was a max of 300 lb. I was happy that the bottom under the bench area had two bars instead of one to stabilize it more. I am thinking I will put some cube storage down there for shoes and mittens.

Bought two of these and thought they looked great when assembled. Only problem is the sticker on the underside says its only rated for up to 300lbs. I'm ~120 lbs and sat on it fine...but it isn't the sturdiest bench. I'm worried two people might sit on it at the same time and it would break. I'll be returning them soon for something sturdier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bench is light weight but built strong and sturdy. It serves mainly as décor piece next to our back door but also functions well to sit on when taking shoes on or off. It was easy to assemble and only took a few minutes to put together.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very pleased with this wooden bench. Simple, clean lines. Easy to assemble, has a lovely deep stain, and is sturdy! I have this at the foot of my bed with some throw pillows on it and it fits nicely and looks great!

It is also very sturdy. No wobbling at all when you sit on it. It is very classy looking and provides the perfect entranceway bench inside my home. Definitely recommend this!!

It goes well with my classic farmhouse decor I have in my house. It’s pretty sturdy and for the price, it’s decent quality. It definitely is for indoor use, only.

I loved how easy it was to put together. It looks great in front of my bed.

Super quick and easy to assemble. The overall quality is alright, some areas are a little rough and inconsistent. My biggest issue was that the black didn’t cover all the pieces and you can see the color of the wood come through. I was able to fix it with a wood stain pen, but you shouldn’t need to in the first place

Perfect for entry way. Sturdy and beautiful. I found one similar that was much more expensive. Great value

Beautiful bench, but quality is horrible. Within the first few days the paint started chipping off the seat and the wood started to buckle (with no water contact at all). Target will only offer a return with no exchange. Very disappointed.

This bench has some lovely little Japanese design details as well as being functional and sturdy. It took less than 10 mins to assemble and has the desirable storage shelf. It looks great with a bespoke cushion on it, for comfort while seated, in our entryway.

Super cute! Needed a smaller coffee table style bench and this is it! Put it together in under 10 mins!
