    I have thin fine bleached hair and wanted a serum to put on it before showering. My hair somehow like remains dry after applying this like my hair eats it or something? And in parts it's crunchy. I think you're better off with Olaplex Bonding oil even for the price. Now that product works!!

    Not for fine thin-medium hair

    I really wanted to like this product because it was supposed to make hair glossy & shiny. While it definitely did my make hair glossy, it unfortunately made it somewhat look & mostly FEEL dull. i have straight 1A asian hair & i already had pretty healthy hair before using this product, so I feel like this could work best for others aside from those that have fine thin-medium hair. because the mid to ends of my hair suddenly felt very coarse & i usually test a product multiple times but it all resulted in a feeling that there's just a film on my hair to make it look glossy but feel almost straw like. I personally really like the scent because it isn't too strong & it doesn't linger much. I also find that the pricing for this is quite affordable compared to other serums so it sucks that it didnt work well on my hair. So i don't recommend this product for fine thin-medium hair, & hopefully it works well for other hair types.

    Fantastic

    I randomly came across an ad for this product and thought I’d give it a try. My hair is long wavy/curly and this made my hair SO SOFT and manageable. For the price point I’m extremely impressed and will continue purchasing this. It does not weigh down my hair at all and does not leave it greasy. You only need a small amount. It has a very pleasant smell. 10/10 recommend.

    Not good at all.

    I have always used Loreal hair products and never had a problem with it. Until I got the glossing elvive line. I have always had long thick hair that everyone would compliment, but this product would make my scalp itch super bad and have me getting out of the shower with a whole wad of hair in my hand. I’ve kept useing it cause I didnt realize it until after so many washes. My hair felt so dry and crunchy and now I am left with so much breakage and it’s so upsetting. My mom used the same shampoo and conditioner and woke up with new significant breakage as well. We are both blondes with color and I would not recommend this product..

    Amazing results

    To preface- I have really easy to manage hair (straight/black/thick). I pair the serum with leave in conditioner with argon oil infused with it. This product has really added so much shine and vibrancy to my hair. It took a while for me to see the results about a month of consistent use, hence 4 stars. Another aspect I noticed is my hair holds more moisture than before integrating it with my hair care. I know glycolic acid helps with moisture absorption but I wasn’t expecting such amazing results. Truly the most bang for your buck and I will be repurchasing this serum.

    Overpowering, unpleasant fragrance

    I want to love this product, because it makes my fine, straight hair so happy. Unfortunately I can't get past the scent, which is so strong that it lingers on my hair and even my hands for hours after use. I'm not a fan of the scent anyway, but I would tolerate it if it dissipated at all. It's too overpowering, though, and leaves me nauseated after smelling it all day. I'm so sad to have to toss the bottle.

    I wanted to give L’Oreal’s hair gloss for silver white hair a five star. But I can say this, I will never buy that again. It burned my scalp. I left it on for 11 minutes and it turned my hair darker than what the box claimed also burned and irritated the back of my neck and wherever it dripped down. So if you have sensitive scalp, I would be aware
