HOLY GRAIL
Holy grail product for frizzy hair during humid months! It literally leaves you with iorn sleek hair. This is the dupe to a higher end product. I tell mean girls I use a $30 shampoo and gatekeep this.

Sensitivity problem
It made my scalp feel like it was on fire. Burned my skin and makes my hair fall out more than usual. I gave it a chance because it makes your hair soft but the pain isn’t worth it.

Hair falls out
At first it was miraculous how this shampoo & conditioner made my thin, frizzy, tangled hair smooth out and look healthy. The scent is a spring fresh lilac that really lasts through the day. After using these for a week, I noticed losing a lot more hair (in the brush, comb, or in the drain) and it can only be these products. It’s frustrating because this stuff does seem to do everything it says it will. But it only works when you have hair and I won’t have much if I continue using this.

Best for more compromised hair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this conditioner a little bit heavy for my hair, so less is more for me. I prefer to add more conditioner if I need it rather than using too much to begin with. The product was sometimes a little difficult to fully rinse out. It made my hair, when wet, sleek enough that it still felt like it had product in it when it was fully rinsed. Packaging was nice but nothing innovative or unusual or new. This is definitely a product I personally can’t just slap on and rinse out and call it a day; I think someone with drier, more damaged, or frizzier hair might have an easier time with this conditioner. Good product but might just be a little too much for my hair!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE L’Oreal’s EverPure line! I started with their purple shampoo, and have used the glossing, clarifying, moisturizer and bond repair shampoo and conditioners. I find them all to perform exactly as promised and the Iron Sleek conditioner was no exception. I didn’t love the smell as much as some of the others, but it wasn’t very strong and certainly wouldn’t keep me from repurchasing. I found the conditioner consistency to be thick enough to nicely coat my hair, but not weigh it down. Due to the very dry weather, I can speak to how it does in humidity. I can say my frizzles were far less pronounced, as I have a lot of new growth. I think this would be a great buy for someone in a humid climate or for me to rebuy in the summer. I’ll definitely circle back around!

I have medium hair and it did somewhat weigh my hair down, when using this conditioner I just have to make sure I rinse really really good! My hair feels soft after using this and I love the scent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The L’Oreal EverPure Iron Sleek shampoo cleanses your hair and leaves it frizz free and protected from humidity. It’s formulated without sulfates, parabens, added phthalates, gluten ingredients, DMDM Hydantoin, silicones, and dyes. It can be used daily if needed. This shampoo definitely helped with my frizz prone hair and kept it frizz free all day in my high humidity location. It didn’t weigh my hair down and was lightweight. The only issue I personally had was the scent was off putting to me. It was overpowering and I didn’t care for it. My hair was shiny and my scalp clean and much less oily.

It does a great job of smoothing my hair and reducing frizz, especially when I’m using heat tools more often. My hair feels noticeably softer and looks shinier after washing, without feeling weighed down. I also appreciate that it’s sulfate-free, which makes it feel gentler on my hair and color. The scent is clean and pleasant but not overpowering. It lathers well for a sulfate-free shampoo, and a little goes a long way. The only downside is that if your hair is very dry or damaged, you may need a more moisturizing conditioner alongside it. Still, for smoothing and protecting hair that’s prone to frizz or heat styling, this shampoo definitely delivers.

I didn’t really notice any difference compared to my normal Pantene shampoo. No strong smell, normal shampoo consistency. Same packaging as this brands other shampoo and conditioners.
