To use: Apply along top and lower lash line to define eyes. To add more drama, use the side of the liner to draw a thicker contouring line.

Eye cosmetics in a scratched, infected or irritated eye and scratches from cosmetic eye applicators can lead to eye damage, and in extreme cases, even blindness. If your eye is scratched, stop using all eye cosmetics and go to an ophthalmologist immediately. Never apply this product in a moving vehicle.

we need it in brown too

Good product, wrong color

Bring on the Brown!

Like SO many others, the brown color is dearly missed. I used this eyeliner as a makeup artist staple in my pro kit for so many years and it is perfection..goof proof, stay on proof and stunning. I never use black liner, even on young clients. What is the deal with discontinuing the brown? It's so versatile. I would gladly pay a few bucks extra for this iconic, gorgeous and easy product. Perfect mix of polymers and powder-like kohl formula. I've been waiting patiently for years for this color to return. I have tried the 24hr waterproof pencil and it doesn't hold a candle. The Kohl formula with the large diameter point is what helps it "smoke" out...PLEASE reconsider. Thank you.

Please bring back this product back in brown

I am not happy at all that the brown version of this eyeliner was discontinued. This was a big mistake on Loreal's part because it was very popular everywhere!!!! Please listen to your customers and bring this back. It was my favorite eyeliner because it went on easy and you could sharpen it and brown was the best color for it! I used this also as an eyebrow liner!! Contact the CEO and tell them Loreal! Listen to us, bring this back now!

Good product but only producing one color is poor

Why don't you make this in brown? Older women do not look good in the black. It is too severe. Please produce this product in a shade older women can enjoy and use!

This old favorite used to come in other colors, including brown, however, over the years we have discontinued all but the most popular colors, which are the 2 blacks. But we do get that black is not the best liner look for everyone! Take a look at the Never Fail Liner in the shade brown shade. We hope you give it a try and love your results!

Bring back the Smoldering eyeliner in Brown

You have so many people wanting the brown back. Black doesn’t look good on everybody. It’s almost like you don’t care to lose business because all you say is that you appreciate your customer’s feedback and will let your team know our concerns, but you don’t bring back a product that so many loved. Why???

Love this! Make more colors!

For those of us who create a smoky eye with eyeliner, this is the BEST! It allows you to smudge without pulling on the eyelid skin and get the smoke further up the lid in a targeted area without making a mess.I came here to look for more colors! As others have noted,, brown and charcoal would be very useful;I don't wear black in summer. Purple and navy would also be incredible! I would buy them all.

Bring back Grey color

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring back "Charchoal Grey" to the shopping choices. The only reason I am giving it 3 stars is bc I can NOT find any grey in L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Smoldering Eyeliner, in Grey color!!!!

What happened to brown? This was a perfect eyeliner in the dark brown shade. Not everyone wants to wear black! Bring back brown please.

Beautiful but bring back the brown color

This eyeliner, but in brown color, was my holy grail. The five stars are given for BROWN, not black that you have now. Why would you discontinue a brown color when it was so popular with many? Black is harsh and looks way too goth-like on many people. Please bring back the brown color, it was beautiful and soft and just perfect.

Please bring back Gray and Brown

Help!!!! Black doesn’t work for everyone! My Mom and I love the Gray (Gris) and the Brown one. Best eyeliner ever. The black is way too harsh! Reading all the reviews it’s obvious many others would love you to bring back the gray and brown as well.

Pls bring back in slate grey

Please bring back the slate grey. I’ve used this for decades and there is no pencil liner like it. Like others say - there is something about this one that is uniquely perfect and good. Please return to making this product in the colors that consumers want (for me/ it is slate grey). I’d buy a case of it to last forever if I could just find it. I’ve unsuccessful tried a ton of other liners by L’Oréal and others and it is irreplaceable! Please please start making this in full color options again. Thank you!
