La Victoria's medium red taco sauce was a staple in our home in Anchorage, Alaska during the 70s. I was ecstatic to find it for sale at a local Ingles store when I moved to the Atlanta metro area in 2001. Although I currently live quite some distance from an Ingles, and have found that most don't consistently carry the product--now that I know Food Lion carries it, I will definitely pay a visit and purchase it. The medium red taco sauce has just the right amount of spice to it--definitely more robust than the mild. Compared to other brands I've tried, La Victoria is not watery or weak-flavored. My uses for the sauce are pretty traditional--corn tortilla tacos made with either ground beef, chicken, or shredded beef, and the occasional bean, cheese, tomato, and lettuce tostada.
