Q: Can anyone vouch for how these screws work? The screws I received were so short they didn't hold anything together!

A: screws are too small hard to put in during assembly scared that the chair might collapse as soon as someone sits on it

The quality of this chair is HORRIBLE. It is nearly impossible to assemble, and the screws are so cheap that it does not stay held together. We sat on it for 30 minutes and it fell apart. Trying to load it in my trunk to return, it fell apart again! My husband is an electrician and couldn’t fix it. I can’t believe there are any good reviews

One chair is broken, the screws don’t work but we didn’t build them after months of having them so we kept them and don’t sit in them. They look really nice though.

I bought two of these chairs. I was concerned about scratches and putting it together based on other reviews. When they were on sale, I decided to take the chance. There were two of the smallest scratches that weren’t in visible areas and will be very easy fix. I put each chair together in less than 5 minutes. I had help from my husband. He held the pieces in place while I put the screws in. All in all im very happy I took the chance on these chairs. Added bonus: cushions covers are removable to wash.

I was hesitant to purchase this due to the mixed reviews. The assembly is not difficult, the instructions are just vague and the pictures are very small. If you figure out which pieces go where, then assembly takes literally five minutes. Overall the chair looks great for the price and is comfortable. Some of the powder coating looked clumpy but it was in areas that will be covered. Also love that the cushions are removable so you can wash them.
Not Worth It. If you were looking for a CB2 dupe, just save for the CB2 chairs

Bought two of these chairs, and I think this is what I regret wasting my money on the most. The chairs don’t align properly, are not comfortable, and are not the colour shown on the photo. They are more of a griege colour. The instructions are horrible. There are two steps, yet somehow this took over an hour to put together (not completely because the arm holes don’t line up with the back of the chair).

This chair is lovely and comfortable. The parts fit together easily, and the screws are exactly the right length. Perhaps the instructions could have shown more clearly, by description or by larger illustrations, how the screws come down the holes in the side arms and then through the holes in the seat frames on both the seat back and bottom. Also, it helps to first assemble the chairs by hand, attaching the screws without the hex iron tool. Then, when the seat structure is complete, tighten all of the screws with the tool provided.

You can’t even assemble these chairs because the holes in the frame are not threaded and the screws are not long enough. Complete waste of money and time. Target offered to ship me a new set but these are so heavy to return that it is not even worth it.

the bolts provided for this product were too short and no washers or nuts came with it. the metal pieces of the assembled chair are not tight enough. the chair wobbles slightly now. over time it will have to be continually tightened
