Warms the room fairly quickly and seems to have an accurate thermostat. It’s a bit noisy (we have another Lasko space heater that’s quieter), to the point that it wakes me up at night if it’s in the bedroom (admittedly, I’m a light sleeper) and we also avoid having it on in our living room when the TV is on. Also, the beeping sound when we push the buttons is SO loud! Altogether, though, it’s been a good alternative to using the central heat in a mild climate. Our heating bill has gone down a bit, and it does heat effectively.
We own 2 of these now. It heats up quickly and I really like being able to set the digital thermostat to the temperature I want. The oscillating feature is very nice for warming legs when several people are sitting by a drafty front door!
Works great! It can heat up an entire room in just a few minutes. I really like that it has a remote. The only thing I do not like is the beeping sound made when I hit any button... it is very loud especially at night when others are sleeping.
Central air in the house just went out and Just literally bought this from the store. Using it to heat my ice cold room up. It's been on for about an hour and my room is still freezing! House is freezing and it's late at night so can't let my son sleep in his room. Me and my son are huddled up in front of it at this point. I'm returning this tomorrow and getting a different brand. If the temperature gets better I'll up the stars. Otherwise, I don't recommend.
I needed a heater for my bedroom quick cuz it's cold (~50°) in my room (121sqft and yeah I know not bad but I'm from SoCal) and I'm recovering from a cold. Picked this one up. I liked the small foot print vs a box one. I place it on top of a night stand cuz it's a little short and I have a high bed. The manual says to give 3 ft of space on all sides but I don't have that kind of real estate. About 1 ft was fine as it didn't heat the sides up. The fan intake is from the rear so it needs some space. I don't use the oscillation setting but noticed it rotates opposite way each time you press the button. Remote is a plus Digital thermostat shows current temp Auto on/off if using thermostat (+/-2°) 1-8 hour timer Looks decent Light weight Easy to transport with rear handle Cool touch on all sides except the front grill. Thermostat measured 70 when my personal thermometer measured 67.8. At 75 my thermometer measured 73.8. It seems to be off by 2.2°F. Took 15 min to warm from 72 to 75. About 5-6 min each 1°F increase. Works decently with my broadlink RM3 and Alexa Cons Loud beep when you press a button Rattles randomly at start, sometimes during, and before it stops. Seems if I lean it or pick it up the rattle stops. Perhaps poor quality build. Thermostat not accurate to 1°F Definitely would recommend if it last for years I've had box fan heaters last decades
The smell of new appliances usually doesn't bother me but this one is just too strong but the main problem is that unless you can forsee how cold your room will be in the middle of the night/early morning there's no way to tell what temperature to set it on not only that you cant program it to go on at a certain time and temperature it would be nice to have a setting where you could instead of waking up to a freezing bedroom it is a nice design, fast, and very quiet its just not practical as an overnight heater
