Lawry's Lemon Pepper Recipe Change

I have used Lawry's Lemon Pepper since I was age 16, I am currently 66 yrs old ! It WAS the BEST lemon pepper seasoning you could buy ! I believe it was the first sold in major supermarket chain stores. A few years ago, I noticed it changed and it is INFERIOR and now nearly identical to the other brands. It does not have the huge clear lemon flavored "granules" and it is very salty. Lawry's assumes customers are too stupod to notice. WRONG ! 😡 I was forced to not buy it. It is now a waste of money. All that powder and salt is UNHEALTHY !
Need a bigger size!

My father stated using Lawry's Lemon Pepper on his barbecue chicken along with garlic and butter. He would always used chicken with the skin on and he would coat each piece before putting it on the grill, and then baste the chicken as it cooked with the same combination of flavors - Amazing! Also works great on fish, beef and pork. I use it in salads and on my deviled eggs. Magical stuff!

I've been using Lawry's Lemon Pepper for many years. I absolutely have loved the bright, fresh taste on grilled chicken. Now the cap is red and it tastes different; too much pepper and not enough lemon.

I've been using this lemon pepper for decades on my fried potatoes. Goes especially well with those canned new potatoes, sliced and fried in butter.

The item shown has lemon zest and a much better flavor than what was received. They only have the red cap lemon pepper which has a weaker flavor.
Love it!

I use Lemon Pepper on everything, including eggs! My guacamole recipe is simply avocado, Lawry's Garlic Salt and Lemon Pepper! The Lemon Pepper has a little salt and if I'm on salt overload, I just use LP. My children let me know if they are running low and can't find it in the city, so I always have enough to share. It is delicious!

I have been using Lawry's Lemon Pepper Seasoning for at least 35 years. It is my go to seasoning for steaks; pork chops; try-tip roasts and sometimes vegetables. I miss the days when I could by the 32 oz. commercial size container at Lawry's California Center (closed). The lemon pepper with it's zesty lemon tang has always been a seasoning that I couldn't live without.
