A: Uzumaki, You are correct the older jars of Lawry's didn't have celery seed as an ingredient listed on the jar. I had an old jar from a few years ago in my pantry and it doesn't list celery seed.

Horrible
I too grew up with Lowry's seasoned salt, it was a staple in our home. The last bottle I bought, yesterday, really has no flavor, just burns your mouth with the salt. Never buying it again!!!!!

Taste different
Not the same burnt brown color and definitely doesn't have or add the flavor it once did. Read some other comments from mnf stating no change. I find hard to believe with not only my personal taste difference but with other family and friends as well definitely noticing a difference and also why is it not the same color.

LESS HERBS AND SPICES AND MUCH MORE SALT
I don't know who the manufacturer, McCormick thinks they are fooling; since they bought Lawry's, it has gone from a rich reddish/orange color to a pale almost yellowish pink and tastes like pure salt... The last bottle I bought next to an earlier bottle I bought is extremely pale looking next to the older bottle. They messed up a great all-purpose seasoning! I stopped using it, messed up a few dishes because of the change.

Amount in containers Varys/ can't read exp dates in red
Amount in the clear containers vary AND RED stamped expiration dates CAN NOT be read! Why in red, and on the bottom which isn't flat! We love the Lemon Pepper, but stand around in the stores trying to read the dates and realized they all vary in amount in each container as well!

I add this to every dishes I make. Hope I can buy more from your product on your web site because they just sell this one at my waltmart (Longueuil,Quebec,Canada). I literally buy 5 lbs of this salt because I'm affraid to ad none when I will want to buy this again! And if I recomand this product ? A hard 10 out of 10 !

Tastes worse and worse
I used to use Lawrey's almost exclusively for all of my meals. Over the years and especially lately I have noticed a change in the flavor of my favorite seasoning to the point I will no longer be using it for any of my meals anymore!!! When you have a product that is great then change the formula it doesn't make sense to me

I grew up on Larry's seasoning salt. Your formula must have changed The seasoning salt is too salty. You need to use more seasoning and less salt. back in the day you would have gotten five stars.

Ingredients on bottle with expiration of June 2018: Salt, Sugar, Spices (including paprika, turmeric), Onion, Cornstarch, Garlic, Natural Flavor, Extractives of Paprika. You will NOT find this recipe in stores now.

Why the ingredient change ??!!
Have used this product for years. (Am 77yrs.) Recently bought a bottle and was shocked when I went to use it. Definitely DIFFERENT color(brn.orange), texture(pwd.) and just a nasty taste. Not good!!!
