My daughter was given this for her first birthday. She was able to use it that first day and has been using it since. My son has had the Scout version for a couple of years now and still enjoys it. It is easy to use, encourages reading, and is a great shape for small hands to hold. My only wish i...see moreof the reviewer's review

Luckily the person who bought it got an additional book. as the other review stated, the book it came with is just a book of samples :( I loaded the other book and my daughter has read it over and over and over. So, while the product is good, it S...see moreof the reviewer's review

I bought this for my daughter who turned 2 years old yesterday along with a pack of tag junior books and I have different feelings of this toy. First, I paid $22.99 for this at target and now I am finding out that its only $18.00 here online. Really irritated about that. Second, I don't like the fac...see moreof the reviewer's review

Our 14-month-old loves playing with books and thought this would be a great way to enhance her "reading" experience (many of her afternoons are spent digging through her book bin looking at the pictures). Product is easy to setup & use. She loves to hear Violet use her name. Was disappointed that th...see moreof the reviewer's review

My son has a LeapReader (the old TAG style) and LOVES it. So when my young daughter started showing interest in his, we decided to get her the Junior for Christmas. Total waste of money. The Junior only holds 3-4 books at a time. We bought her a bunch of books and then found out after that we could ...see moreof the reviewer's review

I had originally purchased three books to use when my son first received the LeapFrog Junior. He just had a birthday and I went to add a few more books to the Junior and found out that there is only 7.5MB of memory and 2.6 of that is used for running the system! That leaves such a small amount of sp...see moreof the reviewer's review

My two year old loves her Leap Reader Jr. It is easy for her to use. The books are available with her favorite characters. This allows her do the same things as her older sister. Books are also available at a reasonable price and are hard back so they are kid friendly.see moreof the reviewer's review

The kids love this product, but it seems very poor design to include only 8MB of memory. I can buy an SD card that could easily hold all the books available on leap reader for a few dollars, but this product can only hold about 4-5 books at a time. So if your children like to read a large variety of...see moreof the reviewer's review
