Learning is important business with My Peek-a-Boo LapPup! Open the toy laptop and say hello to Violet before getting to work on learning about rhymes, shapes, colors and numbers. Press Violet's name tag button to move her paws in front of her eyes and hear cute peek-a-boo phrases. Five crayon buttons light up while playing phrases and songs about colors. Shape buttons play rhymes about shapes, colors and numbers. Slide the clicking mouse up and down for additional imitative play. Close the lid and say goodbye! Intended for ages 6-24 months. Requires three AAA batteries. Batteries included for demo purposes only, new batteries recommended for regular use.
Since this is shaped like a laptop, it attracted my three year old. He loves learning about numbers, shapes, and colors. He loved the songs about colors as well. The peek-a-boo action is super cute! The product has been provided by VTech/LeapFrog free of charge so I could experience it with my family; however, the thoughts and opinions are all my own.
Violet peek a boo puppy is so entertaining for littles! Ages 6 months+ but my 2 year old grandson loves it! She teaches colors, numbers and sings songs. You can even use the crayons like piano keys. The peek a boo function is adorable. I’m glad it has 2 levels for volume. It comes along in the car and is easy to carry. “The product has been provided by VTech/LeapFrog free of charge so I could experience it with my family; however, the thoughts and opinions are all my own.”
My 21 month old likes this toy but it's not quite her favorite. I do love that there is a variety of things it teaches and does. My daughter at this point really only likes the music. I do see this toy becoming more popular with my daughter as she gets older. It'll help with color recognition, counting and following directions.
This toy caught the attention from my kids and my best friend's kids ages 2-14yrs. No kidding! The music is super catchy, the peek a book button was a hit with the 2 year old and she practiced her colors along with the buttons right after we opened it. I did think the yellow and orange lights look the same color and there was no blue button on what appeared to be the rainbow scale of buttons, but this did not interfere with any of the kids loving it and arguing over who had a turn next. For sure, my 14 year old would be upset knowing I told, but even he was bobbing his head to the music and imitating the peek a boo feature. We love Violet toys - you just can't go wrong with them.

This lap top was so entertaining to my daughter and also my 4 year old! They loved singing together the colors, numbers, and shapes! I actually had to go out and buy a separate one because they both loved it so much. They love to open and close it and carry it around with them. My 4 year old has always been a fan of anything Violet with leapfrog and this laptop is no exception. I highly recommend this even for preschoolers.
