The Learning Resources school set is a pop-up classroom that lets kids pretend to be teachers. They can even give out reward stickers and hall passes. The set comes with everything a child needs to be the teacher, including a bell, pointer and grade book.
Bought this as a gift for a 5 year old child and it was such a big hit and was played with the entire day that I bought another one for my 7 year old granddaughter. It is still a huge hit 3 weeks later. That's says a lot since Christmas was 2 weeks ago. They love playing school. I did take it out of the box since the packaging showed smaller kids and I didn't want them to think it was a "baby toy" I just wrapped the case. I recommend this for any kid that likes to play school
Bought this for my daughter and her best friend, both of which are 8 yrs old. They both love it and have played with it for hours! Only thing I would suggest is to include a dry erase marker for the calendar and marker board. Other than that, we are very well pleased with the purchase.
My 5 year old daughter who started kindergarten this year loves playing school constantly. She plays with her older sisters, pets, dolls and stuffed animals. She typically uses an old piece of cardboard as a whiteboard and old school assignments from her and her sisters. I got this for Christmas and I know she will love it. I took it out of the box to check it out and it is larger than I expected and higher quality. The 149 pieces includes stickers on sheets and stuff so it doesn't really come with that many pieces, but everything you need to set up a portable classroom. I can't wait for her to open this gift and stop taking cardboard out of the recycle bin to teach on!
