This set was worth every penny! It is a big brute of a thing. It is very robust, well put together and pretty heavy. The minifig selection is amazing! And a perfect set in that you can add more Jawas, droids and other features to customise it. It looks amazing on display and you can't help but...see moreof the reviewer's review

Challenging, but rewarding build

Even though this is labelled as 14+ when compared to the UCS R2-D2's 16+, this was the more challenging build. 50 shades of brown wreaked havoc on my eyes. Building the basic structure was OK, as was the building of the various panels. Where it really got tricky was where the panels had to join t...see moreof the reviewer's review

Love this set. Amazing attention to detail & a sophisticated build based on an engineering standpoint. Everything fits together perfectly while expressing strong dominate lines with a subtle contrast of colors. I built this model over several days, I always take my time because the build is the best...see moreof the reviewer's review

This was the first UCS set I picked up after coming out of my 'dark ages'. I have hung onto it since February as I was completing a degree, and recently had the time to dedicate to building this wonderful version of an iconic SW vehicle. This build was made all the more special for me as I always wa...see moreof the reviewer's review

This is a massive improvement over the previous lego version and a top level entry into the UCS line. Yes the end result is a big brown box, but for fans of the original movie, this is a must have. The construction is challenging, make a mistake early on and you will need to take the whole thing...see moreof the reviewer's review

Got this or Christmas and is my second UCS star wars set. I also have the slave 1. I have been out of the Lego scene since I was a child and just recently got back into it because I am a huge star wars fan and also I got older and they didn't have sets like this when I was young. They amount of deta...see moreof the reviewer's review

While it looks pretty big, most of that space is taken up by technic parts to keep it from falling in on itself. Most pieces are either for details on the outside or tiny technic pieces on the inside. Honestly I am kinda disappointed in Lego. Its missing things that could be easily added but weren't...see moreof the reviewer's review
