Balance is the defining quality of this model. -excellent interesting build -playability is great -it looks greatly finished without being paneled all over -full RC easily improvable with sBricks and lights for any experienced builder also because the sides make the interior of the model very ...see moreof the reviewer's review

Best set for power functions parts.

If you want Power Functions parts this is probably the best set you can buy. The motors, remotes, battery box, and ir receivers alone are worth $125. I got lucky and found this set for $100 off. It has been discontinued by lego, so they will be pretty hard to find soon.see moreof the reviewer's review

An outstanding piece of design by the Lego engineers. The instructions clearly walk through what is a fairly complex build. With such a large parts count I was constantly concerned that I would find a piece missing, but NO every little doo-hickey was exactly as expected with just a small handful of ...see moreof the reviewer's review

I thought this set was over-priced, but of course they include all those motors... The wheel loader is remarkable because they managed to fit all the components inside and still make it look reasonably good. The battery box, X-L Motor, L-Motor, M-Motor, Servo Motor, engine and RC components all h...see moreof the reviewer's review

This kit is the best so far because it not only includes all motorized actions, but they're all remotely controlled. What a fantastic set of motors/controls that are included. Well done! I'd love to see more of these fully RC kits.see moreof the reviewer's review

This is the the most complex Technic set I've built (I've built dozens). I'm more of an old fashioned "technic brick and square 9V motor" guy than a new "liftarm and power functions" guy, and the difference for me is that with the liftarms its much harder to appreciate how the setis taking shape as ...see moreof the reviewer's review

Dear fellow builders, I had this set brought for me for Christmas last year. I started it around 6 months ago, and on and off building around every weekend, I finally finished it this afternoon. It is awesome. It moves. It picks up. It drops. It has a remote control. IT WORKS! This. Is. Awe...see moreof the reviewer's review

This was my second Technic build (the previous one being in 1997), so I'm no Technic expert. I have had LEGO all my life. This kit is a blast to build! The engineering that goes into the design is amazing. It's had to imagine how they come up with all the details that lock sections together to make...see moreof the reviewer's review
